Mr. Trump, Jerusalem is not the capital of biblical Israel

“Modern-day Jerusalem was never the capital city of David’s kingdom”

By Dr. Ashraf Ezzat

If historically, Jerusalem is indeed the city of King David, I wouldn’t have been angry with Trump’s foolish decision to move the US Embassy there and I wouldn’t have bothered with writing this piece. But the historical truth of the matter is that modern-day Jerusalem was never the capital city of David’s kingdom.

Many thought that building a wall along the American-Mexican border was the most stupid promise Trump had come up with during his electoral campaign. But actually it wasn’t, moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is. Trump’s decision has rejuvenated the Zionist ideology of illegal occupation and apartheid that some Zionist fanatics perceived the move as “bigger than Balfour” – so much for those analysts who supported Trump as they viewed him the candidate who will perform as the anti-establishment President. Little did they know that the only establishment Trump cares about is his own.

But has moving the US Embassy come as a surprise? Actually no, contrary to his predecessors, Mr. Trump wants to be the first US President to actually make good on many of his electoral promises (no matter how stupid they are). Maybe he wants this to be remembered as his presidential legacy.

But that could hardly be the sole purpose of this ill-advised move, for relocating the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will surely grant Trump the (much needed) support from the Jewish lobby and its deep-pocketed organizations and the religious right of Zionist and Evangelical Christians.

Not to mention that this US embassy stunt will serve as a diversion since many scandals are currently threatening Trump’s presidency and turning the White House into a circus.

It seems that nothing could save the day for Trump except by making Israel “great again”.

Trump’s move, though is a dumb move, might give rise to serious political repercussions, and possible violence (and more extremism and terrorism) in the Middle East and beyond. While on the other hand it might not, bearing in mind that the EU, the Arab and Islamic world are opposing this outrageous decision.

But what Mr. Trump doesn’t quite realize is that his decision is extraordinarily ignorant from a historical point of view, and that’s why I believe it is dangerous at the same time. Ignorant, for neither he nor his circle of advisors have been educated/informed by (unbiased) academic scholars of the ancient history of the Near East that Jerusalem is not the historical city of ancient (biblical) Israel. Dangerous, because this reckless move will help solidify that falsified concept about Jerusalem in the collective subconscious of the uneducated masses worldwide.

The distorted mainstream narrative/pretext for occupying the Palestinian city of Jerusalem (as well as the rest of Palestine) is that it was the capital city of the magnificent kingdom of David and his son Solomon.

The seemingly indisputable pretext among the fathers of the Zionist movement is that Palestine is their historical land upon which many of the stories of the Patriarchs took place. They also unequivocally view Jerusalem as the city established by King David back in the 10th century BC.

Building on that fake pretext the Zionist movement (supported by Great Britain and US in the first half of the 20th century) have been encouraging European converts to Judaism to envision the Arabian land of Palestine as their lost/ancient Land that was promised to Abraham and his Israelite descendants. The funny thing that had eluded thousands of European Jews who later settled in Palestine is that they are not the descendants of Abraham or his Israelite tribe, but rather of the Khazar Kingdom.

If Muslims of China and the Philippines cannot claim historical right to the city of Mecca as their ancient capital, so should not European Jews the city of Jerusalem. The same logic applies.

The Holy City of Jerusalem first appears in the descriptions of the Bible during Abraham (1850 BC). It was in that city that Abraham was received by a mysterious priest/prophet of God who was named as the highest Melchizedek (honest king in ancient Arabian/Hebrew tongue) and who was also the King of Ur-Salem. Salem in Arabic signifies peace and Ur-Salem/Jerusalem signifies the City of Peace. You see, the whole vocabulary of the stories of the Israelite patriarch is genuinely Arabian.

Another telling detail the bible tells us, is that before David conquered the biblical city of Jerusalem, it was inhabited by a tribe called the Jebusites (2 Samuel 5:6-7), and that Jerusalem was securely situated, like a fortress, on a mountain top.”

But what is perplexing is that during both the time of Abraham (19th century BC) till the time of David’s conquest of the city (10th century BC), Jerusalem did not exist as a territorial entity on the map of the ancient Near East and specifically the Levant. Simply the city was not there yet.

There was no Jerusalem that could have accommodated the stories of Abraham back in the 19th century BC, or David and his son Solomon in the 10th _ 9th century BC.

Not to mention that the ancient history of Palestine never witnessed a people/tribe by the name of Jebusites of whom we could only find historical trace in Ancient Arabia and Yemen with its mountainous terrains and villages – that dovetail well with the biblical geographical narrative.

“The rise of territorial states in the Levant was an outcome of the westward expansion of the Assyrian Empire in the early 9th century BC. Moreover, neither the Assyrian nor the Egyptian records made any reference to this so-called kingdom of David and Solomon. Indeed extra-biblical sources leave little doubt that all major states in the region; e.g. Damascus, Moab and of course Jerusalem emerged after the 9th century BC. It is extremely difficult to envision a united Israelite kingdom that ruled from Jerusalem a century before this process.

Israel Finkelstein, Professor of the Archaeology of Israel in the Bronze and Iron Ages at Tel Aviv University

Most annoying of all over a century of archeological exploration in Jerusalem, the (supposed) capital of the glamorous biblical united Monarchy of Israel failed to reveal evidence for any meaningful 10th century BC building activity. No sign of magnificent palaces or great states has been found in the archeology of this period. To make a long story short, Jerusalem in the 10th century BC of the time of David and Solomon was not more than a remote highland village and not the exquisitely decorated capital of a great Empire” wrote Prof. Israel Finkelstein, the Israeli archeology in his book “The Bible Unearthed”.

As for the actual location of biblical Jerusalem, other scholars of ancient history give us some clues as to where we could spot it on the ancient map of Arabia and Yemen. The city of Jerusalem according to the Torah, is located on a mountain, that’s why Judaism’s holiest site is designated “The Temple Mount”. But when we look at the ‘Google map’ of nowadays ‘Jerusalem’ we will be surprised to discover that it is not located on a mountain, but rather between two low hillsides. Isn’t that a bit strange?

Al-Aqsa Mosque and The Dome of the Rock (Temple Mount for the Jews) are situated at the lowest point in Jerusalem’s topography. The question is, where on (Google) earth is the mountain that is mentioned in the Bible? Will it come with Trump’s embassy? – No sarcasm intended.

Even more, the huge wall modern-day Jews pray and sway before is neither the western nor even the eastern remaining wall of the Temple. But oddly enough, it is one of the Roman (pagan) walls of some military camp that goes back to Herodian/Titus era.

Jerusalem could be the place where the Herodian Temple (37 BC–70 A.D.) once stood but it is definitely not the land of the first temple or that city which witnessed the stories of the early Israelite patriarchs.

Jerusalem is not the historical city of David nor is it the capital of biblical Israel. That’s why it should never be acknowledged as the Capital city of modern-day Israel.

The current location of both the Temple Mount and the whole of the state of Israel is based on an Ideology; downright fake and deceptive. Mr. Trump’s ignorant decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem has made it all the more deceptive.

  1. The solution to the internecine strife in the Middle East imo lies in the understanding of God not as a male anthropomorphic tribal warlord, but as anew underlying Universal Divine Principle outlined in the deeper Gnostic spiritual traditions of both East and West.

The Gnostics (Nag Hammadi Library), Vedic Hindus, Sufis, Greek philosopers, the Taoist sages, and even the Jews of the later mystical traditions of Hasidism agree on this.

  2. Dr. Ezzat,

You are as biased as the cunning Zionists. Going through the articles on your website, I don’t see a single reference to the Canaanites (aka Phoenicians).

    • The Hebrew Bible plagiarized the Canaanite religion after vilifying them.

    • The old Hebrew language was a dialect of the Canaanite language.

    • The Old Hebrew script/alphabet derives from the Canaanite/Phoenician alphabet.

None of it is Arabian in origin.

Then could you be more illuminating and tell us where on earth those Canaanites lived? And don’t tell me ancient Palestine, for this is spoon-fed/distorted lie.

      2. Hi Ashraf,

I didn’t see your reply (below) in time to be allowed to respond directly.

As I mentioned in another post, the ancient royal family descended from Canaan. The blessing AND the curse of kingship was claimed by that particular patriarch. Canaanites were the descendants of royalty and were everywhere that the royal family had influence. The Bible states that they dwelled from Sidon to Lasha (Gen. 10:19). We can’t be sure that Sidon represents the traditional location in Phoenicia or somewhere further to the West. Nor is it possible to identify the location of Lasha with any certainty. It could have been Upper Egypt, the Land of Punt, or even somewhere further East. However, the key phrase is that the Canaanites could be found “throughout the tents of Shem,” Canaan had taken up the kingly birthright that formerly belonged to Shem. His descendants began the process of taking over the properties of the former dynastic house (figuratively, “tents”).

Each major dynasty took land and wealth away from the descendants of the previous dynasty. Inheritances from the Old Kingdom were reassigned in the Middle Kingdom to the current members of the royal family and their own heirs. New Kingdom elites later seized what had belonged to the descendants of Middle Kingdom royals. That’s how the system worked. Even if you could claim to have descended from a Great King, that status was of little importance after a number of generations had passed. You were no better than any other commoner. Kingship concentrated wealth.

It therefore follows that the Israelites were a more recent (Middle Kingdom) group of Canaanites that were authorized by the crown to displace an older (Old Kingdom) group.

If you can convince me that the Egyptian king “Shishak” mentioned in the Old Testament is not the same Sheshonq I (who has been proven archeologically as a real, historical figure during Rehoboam’s time), then I will rest my case and declare your theory of the “Arabian Judea” to be the truth.

        Abstract
Perspectives about the ideal Muslim woman continue to be a kaleidoscope of various readings of different Muslim women throughout history. The four women of paradise, as cited in the hadith literature, refer to: Lady Maryam (Mary), Lady Asiyah (the wife of Pharaoh), Lady Khadijah (the wife of Prophet Muhammad), and Lady Fatimah (the daughter of the Prophet).1

Although they are all considered to be historical figures and there is much to be said about them, only the first two have been mentioned in the Qur’an, and only Lady Maryam is mentioned by name.

Lady Maryam and Lady Asiyah are particularly noted in the chapter al-Tahrim as mathal, or role-models and examples for all of mankind. In this paper, we hope to provide a brief biographical sketch as well as an analysis of the verses related to Lady Asiyah from classical Sunni and Shi’i commentaries of the Qur’an. We also hope to touch on the attention that her famous sentence in Surah al-Tahrim has warranted from the gnostics (urefa) in exegetical commentaries by the likes of Allamah Tabatabai (d.1981).
        Preamble
The four women of paradise, as cited in the hadith literature, refer to: Lady Maryam (Mary), Lady Asiyah (the wife of Pharaoh), Lady Khadijah (the wife of Prophet Muhammad), and Lady Fatimah (the daughter of the Prophet)2.

Although they are all considered to be historical figures and there is much to be said about them, only the first two have been made direct reference to3 in the Qur’an, and only Lady Maryam is mentioned by name. Lady Maryam and Lady Asiyah are particularly noted in the chapter al-Tahrim as mathal, or role- models and examples for all of mankind:
Allah draws an[other] example for those who have faith: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said,
‘My Lord! Build me a home near You in paradise, and deliver me from Pharaoh and his conduct, and deliver me from the wrongdoing lot.’ And Mary, daughter of Imran, who guarded the chastity of her womb, so We breathed into it of Our spirit. She confirmed the words of her Lord and His Books, and she was one of the obedient. [66:11-12] 4

  5. Dr. Ashraf Ezzat, I would like to thank you for your precious work. I have some questions. May be the answers are in your masterpiece “Egypt Knew no Pharaohs nor Israelites” which unfortunately I could not get.

Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud in a video commenting on the ancientness of what is called Hebrew language said that the patriarchs (Jacob, Joseph and Moses) were in Egypt during the reign of the Hyksos and the call to monotheism was directed to these heathen Hyksos not to the Egyptians as they had already been known for their monotheistic religion which was delivered to the ancient Egyptians by the prophet Idrees (Enoch) and one of the proofs that the ancient Egyptians knew monotheism well was the Book of the Dead introduced by Idrees, this book showed pure monotheism which was before the existence of the Israelites and their patriarchs (prophets).
For me, I believe that all the events of the patriarchs were in the western part of Arabia, but my inquiry Dr. Ashraf is who the Hyksos were, do any of the patriarchs have anything to do with the Hyksos.
Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud also mentioned that the pharaoh (the king) of Moses was the sixth king of the Hyksos when there were no ruling Egyptian dynasties.
Another point I would like to mention is the word pharaoh. Actually, I watched a conference celebrating Cairo Book Fair and one of the guests was Dr. Zahi Wawwas who said (of course I believe him) that there is no mention of Abraham, Joseph and other guys in all the Egyptology but what confused me that he mentioned the word “Bar 3o” which meant the great house was used in the time of The Second Kingdom, later the word was used by the Jews with some linguistic shifting then reached the Arabs as mentioned in Quran (of course I don’t believe this, what I really believe that pharaoh is an ancient Arabian tyrant) Hawwas also said that the word was used as a preceding adjective of the name of the king and later it became as a noun. My question is, what was the original word before translating it into the Septuagint.
Thank you Dr. Izzat for your great efforts and I hope that every one on this planet would soon read your precious book and grasp how corrupt and deluding the history of the worshippers of Yahwa and his wife Asheera

    1. Nobody knows for sure who the Hyksos were.
I don’t subscribe to the theory of Mostafa Mahmoud.
Dr. Hawass’ opinion is somehow lacking a deeper understanding of the evolution of “Pr aa”, all the way from the Egyptian Old Kingdom until the Greeks/Ptolemies used it as a reference to the King of Egypt.
And thank you for your insightful comments.

  6. Anna Wilson and Margret King.
There is another narration about Abraham which was set by Dr. Fadel Al Rubaie in his book “The Imagined Palestine” where he says that there was pure and clear dishonesty by the scribes when they translated the OT pertaining the origin of Abraham. In the OT, the place where Abraham moved from was called (Ur Kassideem) which is still written in the same form in the present Hebrew OT. While in the present copies of the OT in the world languages is “the land of the Chaldeans”.
Dr. Fadel argues that Kassideem is a name of an Arab tribe “Ban Kassed” which still exists in Yemen,

If the zionists had found even a microscopic tiny artifact in Al Quds ( or Palestine as well) about David’s kingdom or even israelites , they would declare “Jerusalem” as a capital of so called “israel” without waiting any external recognition from microscopic islands like Micronesia, Marshall, Nauru and Palau.

  10. Perhaps the Palestinians are not One Nation but Two Nations
It is noticeable that geography, politics and culture divide the Palestinians into two distinct, separate and even contradictory and conflicting parts between the West Bank (the Jordan River) and the population of the Gaza Strip. Are these divisions the result of historical and racial differences? To answer this question it is necessary to note the following:
The Jews are a group of Turkic Mongolians who were sent by the colonists to Persia and Babylonia (and they also left Mongols) to displace the Hebrew Israelite of Israel and replace them in Canaan. This has been confirmed by the Samaritans and the Beta Israel Ethiopians, as well as by the loss of the tribes of Israel and other profound ethnic, cultural, religious and political transformations that followed the Babylonian return in 530 BC.
Turkic Mongolians, the origin of Jews, had existed in the region since 1800 BC with various names such as Chasu YHWH and Hyksos. Their raids and destruction caused the collapse of the Bronze Age in 1177 BC for the majority of Mediterranean civilizations and countries. It is a pivotal era documented in archeology and history books. This massive collapse resulted in a large number of large migrations and the emergence of so-called “sea peoples” fugitives and mercenaries. At the time, the Hebrew Israelites were occupying and were present in Canaan and were still allied with the Turkic Mongolians before the collapse of this alliance in 626 BC.
The first waves of Palestinians came with the collapse of the Bronze Age and the fall of the Hittite Empire and civilization in and around Anatolia. The second wave of settlements were to the Philistia region and it was organized by the Turkic Mongolians after they called themselves Jews. This was in 530 BC with the expulsion and dispersal of the Israelites from Canaan. They brought in new immigrant labor and slaves to be added to the first wave of of the sea peoples and they settled the second group in the region of Philistia; and both settlers became known as Palestinians in Western Bank and also in of Philistia despite their differences.
It is clear that the history of settler groups that were later known to the Palestinians occurred on two stages. The first stage is the migrations of the so-called “peoples of the sea”. It is noteworthy that the Jebusites are a group of settlers concentrated in the eastern region of River Jordan and they differed from the Canaanites despite attempts to include them as Canaanites, but they are closer to the Hittites (the peoples of ancient Anatolia). Many scholars consider the origin of the Jebusites is the Hittite. This is confirmed by the gods they worshiped before they converted to Christianity. As well as the similarity between them and Armenians.
The second phase was different Mediterranean groups to replace the expelled and displaced Canaanite and Hebrew. This second group was settled in what is now the Gaza Strip. “Philistia” was first mentioned in the works of the Greek historian Herodotus in the fifth century BC. With the emergence of Christianity the inhabitants of the West Bank, adopted the new religion that emerged in the lands they became advocates and defenders of Christianity in the face of Jews. While the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip remained in their old beliefs until the Islamic conquest came and embraced Islam as a means of coexistence and protection. https://wp.me/p1OEJz-1pI

  11. THE PERFECT QURAN?

    Narrated Zaid bin Thabit Al-Ansari:
who was one of those who used to write the Divine Revelation: Abu Bakr sent for me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of Yamama (where a great number of Qurra’ were killed). ‘Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said, ‘Umar has come to me and said, The people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) Yamama, and I am afraid that there will be more casualties among the Qurra’ (those who know the Qur’an by heart) at other battle-fields, whereby a large part of the Qur’an MAY BE LOST, unless you collect it. And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur’an.” Abu Bakr added, “I said to ‘Umar, ‘How can I do something WHICH ALLAH’S APOSTLE HAS NOT DONE?’ ‘Umar said (to me), ‘By Allah, it is (really) a good thing.’ So ‘Umar kept on pressing, trying to persuade me to accept his proposal, till Allah opened my bosom for it and I had the same opinion as ‘Umar.” (Zaid bin Thabit added:) Umar was sitting with him (Abu Bakr) and was not speaking me. “You are a wise young man and we do not suspect you (of telling lies or of forgetfulness): and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah’s Apostle. Therefore, look for the Qur’an and collect it (in one manuscript).” By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains (from its place) it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Qur’an. I said to both of them, “How dare you do a thing WHICH THE PROPHET HAS NOT DONE?” Abu Bakr said, “By Allah, it is (really) a good thing. So I kept on arguing with him about it till Allah opened my bosom for that which He had opened the bosoms of Abu Bakr and Umar. So I started locating Qur’anic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart). I found with Khuzaima two Verses of Surat-at-Tauba WHICH I HAD NOT FOUND WITH ANYONE ELSE, (and they were):–

“Verily there has come to you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty He (Muhammad) is ardently anxious over you (to be rightly guided)” (Quran 9.128)

The manuscript on which the Qur’an was collected, remained with Abu Bakr till Allah took him unto Him, and then with ‘Umar till Allah took him unto Him, and finally it remained with Hafsa, Umar’s daughter.
    (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 201)

The number of memorizers that died was 450:
“During the battle of Yamama, 450 reciters of the Qur’an were killed.”
(The True Guidance – An Introduction To Qur’anic Studies, published by Light of Life, P.O. BOX 13, A-9503 Villach, Austria, part 4, p. 47– citing Ibn Kathir’s Al-Bidaya wa al-Nihaya, chapter on Battle of Yamama)

According to another source, when these men died they took with them portions of the Qur’an that they alone had memorized:

Zuhri reports, ‘We have heard that many Qur’an passages were revealed but that those who had memorised them fell in the Yemama fighting. Those passages had not been written down, and following the deaths of those who knew them, were no longer known; nor had Abu Bakr, nor Umar norUthman as yet collected the texts of the Qur’an. (Burton: The published text ought here to be amended: for “fa lamma jamaa Abu Bakr", I propose to read: "wa lamma yajma Abu Bakr”, to follow: “lam yuktab”.) Those lost passages were not to be found with anyone after the deaths of those who had memorised them. This, I understand, was one of the considerations which impelled them to pursue the Qur’an during the reign of Abu Bakr, committing it to sheets for fear that there should perish in further theatres of war men who bore much of the Qur’an which they would take to the grave with them on their fall, and which, with their passing, would not be found with any other.
(John Burton, The Collection of the Qur’an, pp. 126-127, Abu Bakr `Abdullah b. abi Da’ud, Kitab al-Masahif’, ed. A. Jeffery, Cairo, 1936/1355, p. 23; bold emphasis ours)

From these sources we realize that:

No text had been compiled during Muhammad’s time. This is further solidified by the following traditions:

[Zaid b. Thabit said:] “The Prophet died and the Qur’an had NOT been assembled into a single place.” (Ahmad b. Ali b. Muhammad al ’Asqalani, ibn Hajar, Fath al Bari [13 vol., Cairo 1939], vol. 9, p. 9; italic emphasis ours)

It is reported… from Ali who said: “May the mercy of Allah be upon Abu Bakr, the foremost of men to be rewarded with the collection of the manuscripts, for he was THE FIRST to collect (the text) between (two) covers”.
(John Gilchrist, Jam’ Al-Qur’an – The Codification of the Qur’an Text A Comprehensive Study of the Original Collection of the Qur’an Text and the Early Surviving Qur’an Manuscripts, [MERCSA, P.O. Box 342 Mondeor, 2110 Republic of South Africa, 1989], Chapter 1. The Initial Collection of the Qur’an Text, p. 27 – citing Ibn Abi Dawud, Kitab al-Masahif, p. 5)
However, there are other narrations which contradict this since they claim that Abu Bakr wasn’t the first to collect the Qur’an:

It is reported… from Ibn Buraidah who said: “The first of those to collect the Qur’an into a mushaf (codex) was Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhaifah”.
    (Ibid., citing as-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Qur’an, p. 135; bold emphasis ours)
Interestingly, Salim is one of the four men that Muhammad recommended learning the Qur’an from:

    Narrated Masriq:
Abdullah bin ‘Amr mentioned ‘Abdullah bin Masud and said, “I shall ever love that man, for I heard the Prophet saying, ‘Take (learn) the Qur’an from four: ‘Abdullah bin Masud, Salim, Mu’adh and Ubai bin Ka’b.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 61, Number 521)

He also happened to be one of the Qurra (reciters) killed at the Battle of Yamama. It is evident that Salim’s compilation precedes that of Abu Bakr’s since the latter only collected the Qur’an after the death of the Qurra at Yamama.

A great majority of the Qur’anic reciters had been killed at al-Yamama, forever taking with them portions of the Qur’an that only they knew.
Zaid Bin Thabit collected the Qur’an from palm leaves, stones and from the memories of men.
Zaid was not the only person who had compiled the Qur’an in book form. Others such as Ubayy Bin Kab and Abdallah ibn Masud also compiled Qur’ans of their very own. In fact, both Ubayy and Ibn Masud had been singled out by Muhammad himself as two of the top four Qur’anic reciters:

Masruq reported: We used to go to Abdullah Bin Amr and talk to him. Ibn Numair said: One day we made a mention of Abdullah Bin Masud, whereupon he said: you have made mention of a person whom I love more than anything else. I heard Allah’s Messenger as saying: Learn Qur’an from four persons: Ibn Umm Abd (i.e., Abdullah Bin Masud – he started from him – then Muadh bin Jabal and Ubayy bin Kab, then Salim the ally of Ali Hudhaifa. (Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Number 6024)
Another tradition confirms that besides Ibn Masud, Ubayy and Zaid ibn Thabit, there were at least two others who had also collected the Qur’an:

Anas is reported to have said: Four persons collected the Qur’an during the lifetime of Allah’s Messenger and all of them were Ansar: Muadh Bin Jabal, Ubayy Bin Kab, Zaid Bin Thabit, Abu Zaid. Qatada said: Anas, who was Abu Zaid? He said: He was one of my uncles. (Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Number 6029)

Despite the fact that this tradition contradicts Zaid’s own testimony that no Qur’anic text had been compiled in Muhammad’s time it does confirm, however, that OTHER Qur’ans were in circulation at the time of Zaid’s codex. Owing to this fact, controversy evolved among the Muslims as they began accusing each other of tampering with the Book of Allah, which eventually led to the third Caliph Uthman taking drastic measures.

‘Hudaifa b. al Yeman came to Uthman direct from the Aderbaijan and Armenian frontier where, uniting the forces from Iraq and those from Syria, he had had an opportunity to observe regional differences over the Qur'an. "Commander of the faithful," he advised, "take this umma in hand before they differ about the Book like Christians and Jews."Uthman sent asking Hafsa to lend him the sheets [inherited by her father, Umar, from Abu Bakr, and now in her possession] "so that we can copy them into other volumes and then return them." She sent her suhuf toUthman who summon Zaid, Said b. alAs, Abdul Rahman b. al Harith b. Hisham andAbdullah b. al Zubair and commanded them to copy the sheets into several volumes. Addressing the group from Quraish, he added, “Wherever you differ from Zaid, write the word in the dialect of Quraish for it was revealed in that tongue.”

When they had copied the sheets, Uthman sent a copy to each of the main centers of the empire with the command that all other Qur'an materials, whether in single sheet form, or in whole volumes, WERE TO BE BURNED…' (Burton, pp. 141-142- citing Ahmad b.Ali b. Muhammad al `Asqalani, ibn Hajar, “Fath al Bari”, 13 vols, Cairo, 1939/1348, vol. 9, p. 18; bold and capital emphasis ours)
    And:

Hudaifa said, ‘The Kufans say, “the text of Abdullah"; the Basrans say, "the text of Abu Musa". By God! if I reach the Commander of the faithful, I WILL RECOMMEND THAT HE DROWN THESE READINGS." (var. Masahif)Abdullah said, ‘Do and God will drown you, but not in water!’
    (Burton, pp. 146-147- citing Abu Bakr `Abdullah b. abi Da’ud, “K. al Masahif”, ed. A. Jeffery, Cairo, 1936/1355, p. 13;)
Hudhaifa figures in a second Hadith series which reports textual differences, not only between the Muslims in Iraq and Syria, but also between rival groups of Iraqi Muslims.

We were sitting in the mosque and Abdullah was reciting the Qur'an when Hudaifa came in and said, 'The reading of ibn UmmAbd! [ie. `Abdullah] The reading of Abu Musa! By God! if I am spared to reach the Commander of the Faithful, I will recommend THAT HE IMPOSE A SINGLE QUR’AN READING!’

‘Abdullah became very angry and spoke sharply to Hudaifa who fell silent.
    (Burton, p. 142, Abu Bakr `Abdullah b. abi Da’ud, “K. al Masahif”, ed. A. Jeffery, Cairo, 1936/1355, p. 13;)

‘Yazid b. Maawiya was in the mosque in the time of al Walid b.Uqba, sitting in a group among them was Hudaifa. An official called out, ‘Those who follow the reading of Abu Musa, go to the corner nearest the Kinda door. Those who follow Abdullah's reading, go the corner nearestAbdullah’s house.’ Their reading of Q 2.196 did not agree. One group read, ‘Perform the pilgrimage TO GOD’ The others read it ‘Perform the pilgrimage TO THE KA’BAH.’ Hudaifa became very angry, his eyes reddened and he rose, parting his qamis at the waits, although in the mosque. This was during the reign of Uthman. Hudaifa exclaimed, 'Will someone go the Command of the Faithful, or shall I go myself? This is what happened in the previous dispensations.' He came over and sat down, saying, 'God sent Muhammad who, with those who went forward, fought those who went back until God gave victory to His religion. God took Muhammad and Islam made strides. To succeed him, God chose Abu Bakr who reigned as long as God chose. God then took him and Islam made rapid strides. God appointedUmar who sat in the midst of Islam. God then took him also. Islam spread rapidly. God next chose `Uthman. God’s oath! Islam is on the point of such expansion that soon you will replace all other religions.’

    (Burton, p. 143, Abu Bakr `Abdullah b. abi Da’ud, “K. al Masahif”, ed. A. Jeffery, Cairo, 1936/1355, p. 11;)
It becomes obvious from these traditions that, contrary to popular Islamic teaching, contradictions and variant readings existed between the different codices. It is interesting to note that these variances gave rise to charges of corruption and textual perversion amongst the Muslim Umma, causing Uthman to burn texts written by eye and ear witnesses of Muhammad.

Uthman then proceeded to make Zaid’s codex the official text, forcing others to accept his decision. This decision wasn’t based on the wisdom of God but on one man’s choice. The question that begs to be asked is who gave Uthman the right to burn Qur’ans, standardizing Zaid’s text, when there were others who had more authority for receiving official standardization of their respective texts, such as Ibn Masud and Ubayy?

  12. THE ZIONIST ARABIAN PROPHET:

This must be the most bizarre title you have ever seen.

To the Arabs & Muslims, this is tantamount to BLASPHEMY!

    But is it?

Has humanity been deceived for the last 700 years into accepting Arab & Muslim propaganda regarding Palestine as FACT?

Let us explore this issue based entirely upon Muhammad’s Quran and no other.

Anyone who has read the Quran let alone studied it would know the following:

The chapters of the Quran are not written in the order of their alleged revelations to Muhammad. For example, the first verse of the Quran is actually in Sura 96 and not one or two!

    Sura Al Alaq 96:1

“Proclaim! (or Read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher Who created…”

The verses and story lines are boringly repetitive.
The names of the Hebrew Biblical characters appear all of a sudden, without any indication as to which country they lived, in which era and in what context.
Without references to the Hebrew Bible, no reader of the otherwise incoherent Quran could possibly know the full story of any and ALL of the Hebrew Biblical characters mentioned therein.

Moreover, their stories in the Quran are based upon Rabbinic & Apocryphal traditions and not upon their originals in the Torah.

The Quran as a whole has no beginning, no middle and no ending, totally unlike the Hebrew Bible.
The stories in the chapters of the Quran, jump from one Hebrew Biblical character in one verse, to a completely different and unrelated character in a completely different era in the next verse, without rhyme, reason or logic.
To compile the story of what we are about to reveal to you, we have had to ferret out all the relevant verses, scattered over many chapters of the Quran, and put them in a coherent order as faithful to the original story in the Hebrew Bible as possible.
And that is why over the last 1400 years, no follower of Muhammad who has not read the Hebrew Bible, could possibly understand, let alone know, the whole story in a consistent manner.

Before revealing the Quran’s Zionism, it is very important of course, to explain what Zionism means and is NOT according to Arab and Muslim distorted propaganda, but to facts.

Believers and Unbelieving Kuffar, please be aware, that the immense majority of the followers of Muhammad, recognize the words Zionist and Zionism, but have absolutely no understanding of either the meaning or the concept of these words.

In Hebrew, Zion is pronounced Tsion, a term that most often designates the Land of Israel and its capital, Jerusalem. The word is found in texts dating back almost three millennia.

Originally, it was the name of a Canaanite fortress on top of Mount Tsion, which is near Jerusalem, which was captured by King David.

David made it a royal residence to start with, and his son Solomon, built the first Temple on top of it. Henceforth, the whole hill was named Tsion. Thereafter, the name of the hill and the city of Jerusalem became synonymous.

In many Hebrew Biblical verses, the Israelites were called the people, sons or daughters of Zion.

The word Zionism is derived from, & associated with, the word Tsion or Zion.

Zionism is actually the national revival movement for the return of the Jewish Diaspora to their homeland of Judea & Samaria, and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel, the Promised Land, their birth place.

Zionism was self-consciously the Jewish analogue of European national liberation movements of the nineteenth century. In the modern world it manifests itself as support for the principle and absolute right of the Jews to live securely in their own homeland Israel as they did over a millennia in ancient times as well as on and off over the centuries ever since.

I shall begin with the most important example of Zionism in the Quran, which is the Quran’s version of the Exodus story starting with Allah’s instruction to Moses and Aaron to go to Pharaoh asking him to release the tribes of Israel from bondage.

I shall recite only the relevant verses from the chapters in such a way as to make the storyline similar in manner to its original in the Torah. I shall jump over verses that are either repetitive or not relevant to the flow of the story.

Please pay particular attention as to how – without our collation in a coherent sequence – the relevant verses of the Quran actually jump from one chapter to a completely different one, since they are scattered all over the chapters of the Quran and hence, by themselves do not make a coherent tale.

Those who want the complete verses can read them in the Quran as I shall be giving you chapter & verse where to find them.

    Sura Ta Ha 20: 47

“So go ye both to him (Pharaoh) and say `Verily we are apostles sent by thy Lord: send forth therefore the Children of Israel with us and afflict them not: with a Sign indeed have we come from thy Lord! And peace to all who follow guidance!

    Sura Al Aaraf 7: 104

“Moses said: “O Pharaoh! I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds.

    Sura Al Aaraf 7:130

“We punished the people of Pharaoh with years (of drought) and shortness of crops; that they might receive admonition.
132 They said (to Moses): “whatever be the signs thou bringest to work there with the sorcery on us, we shall never believe in thee.”

133 So We sent (plagues) on them, Wholesale Death, Locusts, Lice, Frogs and Blood: signs openly Self-explained; but they were steeped in arrogance a people given to sin.

134 Every time the penalty fell on them they said: “O Moses! On
our behalf, call on thy Lord in virtue of his promise to thee: if thou wilt remove the penalty from us, we shall truly believe in thee and we shall send away the Children of Israel with thee.

135 But every time We removed the penalty from them, according to a fixed term which they had to fulfill, Behold! they broke their word!

136 So We exacted retribution from them: We drowned them in the sea because they rejected Our signs and failed to take warning from them.

*** Anyone who has read the Hebrew Biblical original, would know, that what was allegedly revealed to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel, is completely different both in sequence and context ***

    Sura Ta Ha 20: 77

“We sent an inspiration to Moses: “Travel by night with my servants ( the Israelites) and strike a dry path for them through the (Red) sea without fear of being overtaken (by Pharaoh) and without (any other) fear.”

78 Then Pharaoh pursued them with his forces but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.

79 Pharaoh led his people astray instead of leading them aright.

    Sura Al Aaraf 7:138

“We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea…

*** To recap the story thus far: By Allah’s instructions, Moses & Aaron requested the release of the Israelite Tribes from bondage. Pharaoh refused. Allah punished him with a plague. Pharaoh recanted & asked forgiveness BUT when the plague was lifted he again disobeyed Allah. This continued until TEN plagues were visited upon Pharaoh and Egypt.

Finally Pharaoh allowed the Israelites to leave, but he regretted his decision and pursued them into the Red Sea where Pharaoh & his troops were drowned by Allah thus saving Moses & the Israelites.

So far, the storyline of the EXODUS, as we have rearranged it from the different chapters of the Quran, is relatively faithful to that of the Torah

    Sura Ta Ha 20:80 :

“O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy and We made a Covenant with you on the side of Mount (Sinai) and We sent down to you Manna and quails:

    Sura Al Israa 17: 2:

“We gave Moses the Book (Torah) and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel (commanding): “Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs.”

    Sura Al Aaraf 7: 137:

“And We made a people (Israelites) considered weak (and of no account) inheritors of lands in both east and west lands, where on We sent down our blessings. The fair promise of the Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy and We leveled to the ground the great works and fine buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride).

” inheritors of lands in both east and west lands” is actually the Promised Land of the Israelites on BOTH sides of the Jordan River

    Sura Al Israa 17: 104

“And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel “Dwell securely in the land (of promise)”: but when the second of the warnings came to pass We gathered you together in a mingled crowd.

*** Allah, in very clear Arabic, asserts that he fulfilled his promise to reward the People of Israel with the Promised Land, the same land that the later conquering hordes of Muslim Arabs claim as exclusively theirs CONTRARY to their own Quran ***
    Sura Al Maida 5: 12

“Allah did aforetime take a Covenant from the Children of Israel, and We appointed twelve captains among them and Allah said: “I am with you: if ye establish regular prayers, practice regular charity, believe in My apostles, honor and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I shall wipe out from you your evils and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you after this resists faith he hath truly wandered from the path of rectitude.”

*** Once again, does the Quran assert the close relationship between Allah, the People of Israel and his promise for the Land ***

    Sura Yunus 10: 93

“We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place (the Promised Land) and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them on the Day of Judgment.

94 If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book (Torah) from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in nowise of those in doubt.

*** Allah is clearly instructing the followers of Muhammad that if they were in doubt about the veracity of what Muhammad was revealing to them, and then they should ask the Jews who read the Torah that Allah revealed to Moses.

This SINGULAR verse, DESTROYS and NEGATES all the LIES and DECEPTIONS by the LATER followers of Muhammad regarding the authenticity and DIVINE origin of the Torah since had it been ALTERED or tampered with by the Jews, Allah would NOT have used it as a WITNESS to the veracity of the Quran***

    Sura Al Baqara 2: 40

“O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon you and fulfill your covenant with Me as I fulfill My covenant with you and fear none but Me”

    Al Baqara 2: 47

“O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favor which I bestowed upon You and that 50 And remember, We divided the (Red) sea for you and saved you and drowned Pharaoh’s people within your very sight.

51 And remember, We appointed forty nights for Moses and in his absence you took the calf (for worship) and ye did grievous wrong.

52 Even then, We did forgive you; there was a chance for you to be grateful”

*** Without a shadow of a doubt, the Quran in clear Arabic asserts that it was Allah who CHOSE the Israelites above all other nations and made a mutual covenant with them.

Furthermore, verse 2:52 is remarkable in its assertion that Allah also FORGAVE their transgression.

This verse in particular, ABROGATES, Overturns and overrides the LIES and PERVERSIONS by the followers of Muhammad, that tell Arabic IGNORAMOUS peoples that Allah had NOT forgiven the sin of the People of Israel ***

    Sura Al Baqara 2: 122

“O Children of Israel! call to mind the special favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you above the whole world!

*** Once more in this verse does Allah assert that the Israelites are his CHOSEN PEOPLE***

    Sura Al Sajda 32: 23

We did indeed aforetime give the Book (Torah) to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel”

*** Allah is telling the followers of Muhammad that he gave the Torah ONLY to the People of Israel as a guide ***

    Sura Al Mu’min 40: 53

“We did a foretime give Moses the (Book of) Guidance and We gave the Book (Torah) in inheritance to the Children of Israel”

*** “We gave the Book (Torah) in inheritance to the Children of Israel” means to them and their generations AFTER them ***

    Sura Al Dukhan 44: 30

“We did deliver a foretime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment

31 Inflicted by Pharaoh for he was arrogant (even) among inordinate transgressors.

32 And We chose them aforetime above all the nations knowingly

    Sura Al Jathiyah 45: 16

“We did a foretime grant to the Children of Israel the Book (Torah), the Power of Command and Prophethood; We gave them for Sustenance things good and pure; and We favored them above all the nations”

Believers and Unbelievers, please be aware, that the Quran, in verse after verse, repeatedly and unambiguously asserts, that it was Allah and ONLY Allah who did the Choosing, contrary to the Hatemongering declarations by Muslims, that it is the RACIST and ARROGANT Israelites and Jews who declare themselves the Chosen People

    Sura Al Ahqaf 46: 12

“And before this was the Book (Torah) of Moses as a guide and a mercy; and this Book (Quran) confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

    Sura Al sajda 32: 23

“We did indeed aforetime give the Book (Torah) to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel.

    Sura Al Maida 5:44

“It was We who revealed the law (Torah to Moses); therein was guidance and light. By its standard have been judged the Jews by the Prophet who bowed (as in Islam) to Allah’s will by the Rabbis and the doctors of Law: for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book (Torah) and they were witnesses thereto:
    Sura Al Saffat 37: 114

“Again! We bestowed Our favor on Moses and Aaron.

    115 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity;

    116 And We helped them so they overcame (their troubles);

    117 And We gave them the Book (Torah) which helps to make things clear;

118 And We guided them to the Straight Way.

119 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times:

120 “Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!”

*** It should be pointed out that not once in these very important verses did Allah instruct the Children of Israel to pass on his Book (the Torah) to any other human group CONTRATY to the Malicious accusations that the Israelites hid the Torah from other peoples***

And last but not least ‘ icing on the cake’ verse:

    Sura Al Maida 5: 21

“O my people! enter the holy land (al Arth al Muqaddassah) which Allah hath assigned unto you and turn not back ignominiously for then will ye be overthrown to your own ruin.”

Based upon all what we have revealed, how can any sane person accept the wild and unsubstantiated claims, that the loose leaf and arbitrary collection of the Quran is CORRECT, whereas the older Hebrew Book, the Torah, whose pages, chapters and verses are in correct order and upon which the Quran’s foundations are rooted, is not?

It is obvious that Muhammad did not realize that his loose-leaf notes had fully captured and preserved – though somewhat scrambled up from the more ancient accounts – actually verified with detailed accounts, that the Israelites and the Jews had lived many centuries before him, settled and made their homeland as a nation in the very state of modern Israel & territories that have since been restored. These are the very lands that his followers absurdly deny had ever previously belonged to anyone else but themselves?

In conclusion, based upon all the above, it is crystal clear, that contrary to the untested beliefs of hundreds of millions of Muslims in the world today, their Quran in fact, fully supports and verifies the claims of the Jews for the Land of Israel as their ancient and rightful home and nation.

JUDAISM – CHRISTENDOM – ISLAM are the 3 Abrahamic Cults of Death, which have drenched the earth with the blood of their victims

    1. Tell me Mr. Silver, as I am sure you have worked very hard on your quotes, does the Quran state that the Promised Land was named “Palestine”? Does it refer to Israel as a “Kingdom” anywhere at all, or are the revelations addressed solely to “the children of Israel” (Beni Isra’il)?

In Arabic, the Israelites and Jews are two different groups. The “Yahud” are the Jews, defined by the small territory of Judea. The Quran directs God’s anger at them for composing the Book and claiming it was from God. (Surah 5:41). The Israelites themselves were accused of distorting the message of their prophets. They became pagans, followed the rituals of the pagan world that they conquered, shed one another’s blood, and were “nations” not just tribes. In Arabic, the word for “Hebrew” is an “Ibri”, true to its Akkadian original. To find the Israelites, you have to examine the pagan world.

The Quran says Allah cursed them because they were “deluded from the truth.” (Surah 9:30). While they were chosen initially, they were punished over and over for breaking their covenants.

Apocalyptic scrolls within the Dead Sea Scrolls confirm that God had enough of them, and warned them that He would remove the yoke of ruling the faithful and place it on a different people. They had five centuries of atonement after the fall of the Temple in 70 CE, to stop lying and accept their fate. The final messenger was expected to be born in Arabia. Five hundred years later, 570 CE, the Prophet Muhammad was born.

As for the Quran’s first great punishment inflicted against the Israelites, archaeology has proven that the first temple in Jerusalem endured minor damage. That was not the reference in the Quran. Actually, archaeologists have done an excellent job at defining that period in history, and have been amazed by it. Unless you understand who the Israelites were, it would be impossible to see it in the archaeological record.

Of course the Quran confirms the Torah, but it corrects the stories. The order of the revelations do not matter, it is the content that matters. When the Quran describes the “Blessed land” conquered by Musa’s followers, the description never mentions a name for that territory. That is where research is important. Quoting texts is only a fraction of that research, especially if you don’t understand them.

      1. MUSLIMS HAVE TO BE HONEST IF THEY WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!

        IS THE TORAH/TANACH CORRUPTED?
Every UNEDUCATED Muslim believes that the Bible has been corrupted or lost, either partially or fully.
There is just one question THESE Muslims need to answer.

When was it corrupted or lost? BEFORE or AFTER the time of Muhammad.
(By corruption, I mean a change in the message or the doctrines of the Bible as claimed by many Muslims.)

WHAT THE QURAN SAYS ABOUT THE BIBLE

First of all, let’s find out what the Quran says about the Bible.

The Quran clearly speaks of the earlier revelation (Bible) to be a true revelation of God and affirms faith in the Bible.

Sura 3:70, 98,99 – states that in Muhammad’s time there were in Arabia both Jews and Christians known as the People Of the Book.

Sura 5:43 acknowledges they DID have a book. It was not lost. Sura 35:25 talks about the Bible as the scriptures that give light

        Other verses you can read are: Sura 32:3; 5:68; 7:169; 2:40-42,126,136,285; 3:3,71,93; 4:47,136; 5:47-51, 69,71-72; 6:91; 10:37,94; 21:7; 29:45,46; 35:31; 46:11

In addition, you find that the word Injil (Gospel) is mentioned 12 times. The Word Zabur (Psalms) is mentioned 13 times. The word Torah is mentioned 18 times. Not once does the Quran associate any kind of alteration or corruption in all these references. If those books were indeed corrupted, Allah would have made it abundantly clear, not just once or twice but over and over again, every time that Injil, Zabur and Torah is mentioned. In fact, the references speak highly of the sciptures (e.g. Torah – 32:23, 21:48 ; Zabur – 17:57, 4:163 ; Injil – 5:46-48. 19:30. 57:27)

This is further confirmed by verses such as Sura 35:25 which says that the books were sent by God Most High and received with divine guidance, so they cannot be corrupted. Sura 5:48 says that the Quran was given to CONFIRM the Old Testament and New Testament. Not to REPLACE. Sura 10:94: Allah says, “And if you are in doubt regarding what we have sent down to you, ask those (Christians) who read the scriptures before you.” Note: the verb “read” is in present continuous tense meaning “those who are reading”. This means they had the book, they were reading it and it was not corrupt and not lost. Otherwise, why would Allah ask Muhammad and Muslims to read a corrupt or lost book?

Is there a verse that implies the Bible has been changed. Yes, see Sura 3:78: “And indeed, there is among them a party who alter the Scripture with their tongues so you may think it is from the Scripture, but it is not from the Scripture. And they say, “This is from Allah ,” but it is not from Allah . And they speak untruth about Allah while they know.”
This is not referring to an alteration in the written word. It is pointing to individuals, maybe a group, who were teaching teaching false things from the scripture using their tongues. They were teaching lies by twisting the truth.

This means that during the time of Muhammad, the Bible was true, genuine, authentic and uncorrupted and not lost.

Based on this, we can come to the conclusion that: The Bible was NOT corrupted BEFORE the time of Muhammad.

Therefore, the Bible must have been corrupted AFTER the time of Muhammad? Could this be true?

Since the Quran was completed around the 8th century and since the evidence from the Quran itself claims the Bible was not corrupted at that time. Let’s hear from the great Muslim teachers, scholars and theologians who came after the 8th century.

Could it have been corrupted in the 9th century?
Ali al-Tabari (died 855 AD) accepted the Gospel texts. So did Amr al-Ghakhiz (869 AD) and also Bukhari himself who wrote the hadith (810-870 AD)

How could there be any alteration in the Book whose words’ sharpness has reached a great level of circulation in the East and in the West? … For no change can occur in a book that is well circulated among men. Every wise man can see that the alteration of the Bible was impossible for it was well circulated among men of different faith and backgrounds.
(Al-Razi (865 – 925) One of the most famous Muslim scholars, called “the Imam of Muslim Imams)

These great scholars said, NO, it was not corrupted in the 9th century.

Could it have been corrupted in the 10th century?
NO, says Al-Mas’udi (956 AD). It is preserved.

Could it have been corrupted in the 11th century?
NO, says Abu Ali Husain Bin Sina (1037 AD). The Bible is authentic.

Could it have been corrupted in the 12th century?
NO, says Al-Ghazzali (1111 AD). This is one of the greatest muslim scholars who ever lived. And he was convinced the Bible is true.

Could it have been corrupted in the 14th century?
Ismail ibn Kathir =(1301–1373) was a Muslim Muhaddith (narrator), Faqīh, Mufassir, and Historian. He is the author of the most respected and widely used tafsir.
[Quoting Muhammad talking of the Jews and Christians]”David died in the midst of his friends. They were not led astray, nor changed [their books]. The Friends of Christ stayed in His ordinances and guidance for two hundred years”

Could it have been corrupted in the 15th century?
        NO says, Ibn-Khaldun (1406 AD).

Could it have been corrupted in the 19th century?
NO, says Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan (1898) , famous muslim philosopher & founder of the Aligarh College said, “In the opinion of us Mohammedans it is not proved that corruption (tahrif-i-lafzi)…was practiced.”

As far as the text of the Bible is concerned, it has not been altered. No attempt was made to present a diverging text as the authentic one.

Sayyid Ahmad Khan (1817 – 1898), was a prominent and influential Muslim modernist

Muhammad ‘Abduh (1849 – 1905), was an Egyptian jurist and religious scholar:

… the charge of corruption of the Biblical texts makes no sense at all. It would not have been possible for Jews and Christians everywhere to agree on changing the text. Even if those in Arabia had done it, the difference between their book and those of their brothers, let us say in Syria and Europe, would have been obvious…We believe that these Gospel accounts are the true Gospel

QUOTES FROM ISLAMIC SCHOLARS WHO SAY THE BIBLE IS PRESERVED

Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas, Muhammad’s cousin and one of his companions
“They corrupt the word” means “they alter or change its meaning”, yet no one is able to change even a single word from any Book of God. The meaning is that they interpret the word wrongly

The word “Tahrif” [corruption] signifies to change a thing from its original nature; and there is no man who could corrupt a single word of what proceeds from God, so that the Jews and Christians could corrupt only by misrepresenting the meanings of the word of God.

Al-Razi (865 – 925) One of the most famous Muslim scholars, called “the Imam of Muslim Imams”.

How could there be any alteration in the Book whose words’ sharpness has reached a great level of circulation in the East and in the West? … For no change can occur in a book that is well circulated among men. Every wise man can see that the alteration of the Bible was impossible for it was well circulated among men of different faith and backgrounds.

Al Tabari (838 – 923) openly acknowledged that the authentic Taurat and Injil remained in the hands of the Jews and the Christians. His only charge was that they did not always understand or accept the true meaning of their teachings:

… the first one which came into existence, is the Torah, which is in the hands of the People of the Book…As to the Gospel which is in the hands of the Christians, the greater part of it is the history of the Christ, His birth and His life.

Fakhruddin Razi (1149 – 1209), was a Persian Sunni theologian.

The Jews and early Christians were suspected of altering the text of the Taurat and Injil; but in the opinion of eminent doctors and theologians it was not practicable thus to corrupt the text, because those Scriptures were generally known and widely circulated, having been handed down from generation to generation.

Sayyid Ahmad Khan (1817 – 1898), was a prominent and influential Muslim modernist

As far as the text of the Bible is concerned, it has not been altered. No attempt was made to present a diverging text as the authentic one.

Ibn Mazar and Ibn Hatim state,

in the commentary known as the Tafsir Durr-I-Mansur, that they have it on the authority of Ibn Muniyah, that the Taurat (i.e. the books of Moses), and the Injil (i.e. the Gospels), are in the same state of purity in which they were sent down from heaven, and that no alterations had been made in them, but that the Jews were wont to deceive the people by unsound arguments, and by wresting the sense of Scripture … Shah Waliyu ‘Illah (in his commentary, the Fauzul âl-Kabir), and also Ibn ‘Abbas, support the same view.

        T. P. Hughes in “Dictionary of Islam”

Dr. Mahmoud Mustafa Ayoub (born 1938), is a Muslim scholar and professor of Islamic Studies and Comparative Religion at Temple University (USA).

Contrary to the general Islamic view, the Qur’an does not accuse Jews and Christians of altering the text of their scriptures, but rather of altering the truth which those scriptures contain. The people do this by concealing some of the sacred texts, by misapplying their precepts, or by altering words from their right position.

… both the Hebrew Bible and the NewTestament took their final form long before the rise of Islam. The Qur’an speaks of both the Torah and the Gospel as in them is guidance and light. It calls on the two faith-communities to judge by what God had revealed in their Scriptures. It also speaks that both Jews and Christians altered words from their right places and had forgotten some of what God had revealed for them. This does not mean distorting, adding, and deleting of the Scriptures. Therefore, Qur’anic references to tahrif, or alteration, are more to interpretation rather than changing the texts.

Muhammad ‘Abduh (1849 – 1905), was an Egyptian jurist and religious scholar:

… the charge of corruption of the Biblical texts makes no sense at all. It would not have been possible for Jews and Christians everywhere to agree on changing the text. Even if those in Arabia had done it, the difference between their book and those of their brothers, let us say in Syria and Europe, would have been obvious…We believe that these Gospel accounts are the true Gospel.
… as God says in the beginning of the Qur’an: “And who believe in that which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) and that which was revealed before thee, and are certain of the Hereafter. These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful.” (2:4,5)

“Some Muslims imagine that the Injil is corrupted. But as far as corruption is concerned, not even one among all the verses of the Qur’an mentions that the Injil or the Tawrat is corrupted. In the concerned passages it is written that the Jews – yes the Jews, not the Christians – alter the meaning of the passages from the Tawrat while they are explaining them. At least the Christians are completely exonerated from this charge. Hence the Injil is not corrupted and the Tawrat is not corrupted. For it does not necessarily follow that these Scriptures are corrupt because of the wrong opinion of some uninformed persons.

Ismail ibn Kathir =(1301–1373) was a Muslim Muhaddith (narrator), Faqīh, Mufassir, and Historian. He is the author of the most respected and widely used tafsir/

[Quoting Muhammad talking of the Jews and Christians]

“David died in the midst of his friends. They were not led astray, nor changed [their books]. The Friends of Christ stayed in His ordinances and guidance for two hundred years”

        Sayyid Ahmad Husayn Shawkat Mirthi

The ordinary Muslim people acknowledge that the Injil is the Word of God. Yet they also believe through hearsay (taqlidi ‘aqida) that the Injil is corrupted, even though they cannot indicate what passage was corrupted, when it was corrupted, and who corrupted it. Is there any religious community in this world whose lot is so miserable that they would shred their heavenly Book with their own hands, and then, after restlessly patching it with sackcloth, they must throw dust in the eyes of the people? True, some religious communities change the meaning (tahrif-i ma’nawi) of their Scriptures. To say that God has taken the Injil and the Tawrat into heaven and has abrogated them is to defame and slander God. It is to pour ridicule not only upon the Qur’an but upon all the Books. Abrogation always arises because of error. Laws of earthly kingdoms are abrogated because experience has proved that they are harmful. But God makes no mistake, nor does He lack experience.

        Mawlawi Chirag ud-Din

The Qur’an commands us to believe and to honour the previous Scriptures and apostles. According to Surah (Nisa): “O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His messenger and the Scripture which He hath revealed unto His messenger, and the Scripture which He revealed aforetime.” (4:136) ”When, therefore, it is commanded to believe in these Holy Scriptures, why consider the study of these Scriptures reprehensible? For when the order to believe the Qur’an and the Holy Scriptures is one and the same, how can one conclude that reading the Qur’an is a meritorious act, but that reading the Holy Scriptures is a punishable offence?

        Abdullah Saeed

A significant point of tension between today’s Muslims and the ‘People of the Book’ (Jews and Christians) is the common Muslim belief that the Jewish and Christian scriptures that exist today are corrupted and cannot be relied upon in any matters of faith, religion or law. Although this is a popular view, most classical scholars of the Qur’an were far more cautious in their understanding of Qur’anic texts on this issue. This article explores the Qur’an’s references to distortion of scriptural meaning and text, and the views of scholars, particularly Tabari, Qurtubi, Razi, Ibn Taymiyya and Qutb. Qur’anic words such as tahrif are popularly accepted today as referring to deliberate distortion of scripture; however, classical scholars have interpreted the Qur’an’s references in a number of different ways. Almost all suggested that distortion occurred mainly through interpretation and not in the text itself. Although the Qur’an refers to tahrif (distortion), it also exhibits the utmost respect for previous scriptures. Early Muslims adopted a narrow view of scripture, partly because of the nature of the Qur’an, and also in response to the more established religions of Judaism and Christianity, to assert the ‘purity’ of the Qur’an and Islam. Saeed notes that the Jewish and Christian scriptures that exist today are, according to most scholars, largely unchanged since the time of Muhammad and should be respected now as they were then

        Introduction to Abdullah Saeed’s

“The Charge of Distortion of Jewish and Christian Scriptures”

So WHEN was it corrupted? No one knows. Who made this allegation? And what is their evidence to say this? Any muslim who claims the Bible is corrupted will be going against the declarations of all these famous Muslim scholars above. They’d be rolling in their graves if they hear you saying such things. Are you greater than any of these men?

Let’s say, for argument’s sake that the Bible was ‘somehow’ corrupted while all these scholars were sleeping and didn’t know what they were taking about. This would lead to further complications and questions for you to answer.

Like these concerns, for example: By 400AD, more than 200 years before Muhammad was born, the Bible was already available widely in different continents, distributed far and wide, in multiple translations. How was the text corrupted or changed? Did someone go all over the world to collect all the original bibles to burn them? How is it possible to locate and destroy every single copy? Couldn’t someone have kept their Bible hidden? When were the new Bibles written? Did they make the same changes/alterations in the hundreds of different translations? Who were these expert linguists who were recruited for this gigantic tasks of re-writing the bible in different translations and languages? Wasn’t there even one good Christian or Muslim or Jew who saved his “original” bible and then produce it to prove to the world that the “new” bible is different from the old original one? And who would decide what changes to make in the text of the Bible to say something other than the original? If the Jews did it, Christians would not agree. If Christians did it, the Jews would retaliate. And why didn’t any Muslim speak up or provide the evidence of the “original” bible if there was indeed corruption throughout the ages?

In fact, as early as the 11th century, Fakhruddin Razi, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, a nephew of Muhammad, had said, “The Jews and early Christians were suspected of altering the text of the Taurat and Injil; but in the opinion of eminent doctors and theologians it was not practicable thus to corrupt the text, because those Scriptures were generally known and widely circulated, having been handed down from generation to generation.”

If you insist that somehow corruption did take place after the time of Muhammad, it leads to further difficulties, that is detrimental to the Quran and directly to Allah himself. The Quran claims that no one can change the Word of God. Sura (6:34); 10:34 Muslims would say that this only applies to the Quran. Really? Then you’re contradicting Sura 2:136 which says there is no distinction between Allah’s revelation. A true Muslim is obliged to believe in all the revelations of God. Sura 4:136; 29:46.

Even so, if the original revelations of Allah were corrupted, what does this speak of Allah? Why couldn’t Allah preserve his words? Were the people who corrupted his words greater than Allah since it is their corrupted words that have been preserved for more than 2000 years rather than Allah’s original words which have been corrupted or lost. Any Muslim who claims the Bible is corrupted is claiming that Allah is too weak to protect his own words.

Finally, archaeological evidence. This seals it.

Manuscripts discovered from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th centuries, are virtually the same with the Bible today. They are available for any scholar, Muslim or Christian or Jewish or atheist, to study and examine and analyze. Even you can view the famous Codex Sinaiticus, containing the entire Bible, from 300+ AD, right this minute from your computer. Go to: http://www.CodexSinaiticus.com. This document was already available more than 300 years BEFORE Muhammad was born. Anyone can go ahead and compare this ancient document to the current Bible in your hands. Scholars who have conducted extensive research and studies on these manuscripts can say definitively that today’s Bible is virtually unchanged. Some minor variations do not change anything in the message of the Bible or the doctrines of Christianity.

This means that after the time of Muhammad, the Bible has still been proven to be true, genuine, authentic and uncorrupted and not lost.

Based on this, we can come to the conclusion that: The Bible was NOT corrupted AFTER the time of Muhammad.

So why do Muslims still believe that the Hebrew/Israeli/Jewish Bible is corrupted?
Please tell me again when it was corrupted?

      2. MUHAMMAD AND SATAN

Muhammad said that yawning is from Satan.
The Prophet said, “Yawning is from Satan and if anyone of you yawns, he should check his yawning as much as possible, for if anyone of you (during the act of yawning) should say: ‘Ha’, Satan will laugh at him.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 509: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said that yawning is from Satan and that Allah likes sneezing and dislikes yawning.
The Prophet said, “Allah likes sneezing and dislikes yawning, so if someone sneezes and then praises Allah, then it is obligatory on every Muslim who heard him, to say: May Allah be merciful to you (Yar-hamuka-l-lah). But as regards yawning, it is from Satan, so one must try one’s best to stop it, if one says ‘Ha’ when yawning, Satan will laugh at him.” Volume 8, Book 73, Number 242: Narrated Abu Huraira: See also Volume 8, Book 73, Number 245:, Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said a good dream is from Allah and a bad dream is from Satan.
The Prophet said, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad or evil dream is from Satan; so if anyone of you has a bad dream of which he gets afraid, he should spit on his left side and should seek Refuge with Allah from its evil, for then it will not harm him.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 513: Narrated Abu Qatada:ï’
I heard the Prophet saying, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So if anyone of you sees (in a dream) something he dislikes, when he gets up he should blow thrice (on his left side) and seek refuge with Allah from its evil for then it will not harm him.” Volume 7, Book 71, Number 643: Narrated Abu Qatada:
The Prophet said, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape.” Volume 9, Book 87, Number 124: Narrated Abu Qatada:
Muhammad said that Satan stayed in the upper part of a nose all night.
The Prophet said, “If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said a cock crows because it has seen an angel and donkeys bray because they have seen Satan.
The Prophet said, “When you hear the crowing of cocks, ask for Allah’s Blessings for (their crowing indicates that) they have seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek Refuge with Allah from Satan for (their braying indicates) that they have seen a Satan.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 522: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said that Satan touches all human offspring making them cry.
Abu Huraira said, “I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, ‘There is none born among the off-spring of Adam, but Satan touches it. A child therefore, cries loudly at the time of birth because of the touch of Satan, except Mary and her child.” Then Abu Huraira recited: “And I seek refuge with You for her and for her offspring from the outcast Satan” (3.36) Volume 4, Book 55, Number 641:Narrated Said bin Al-Musaiyab:Also, same thing at Volume 6, Book 60, Number 71:, Narrated Said bin Al-Musaiyab:
Muhammad said that devils spread out at night time and that Satan does not open a closed door.
Allah’s Apostle said, “When night falls (or when it is evening), stop your children from going out, for the devils spread out at that time. But when an hour of the night has passed, release them and close the doors and mention Allah’s Name, for Satan does not open a closed door. Tie the mouth of your water-skin and mention Allah’s Name; cover your containers and utensils and mention Allah’s Name. Cover them even by placing something across it, and extinguish your lamps.” Volume 7, Book 69, Number 527: Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah
Muhammad said a child born from a union where a parent said a “phrase,” Satan cannot harm the child.
The Prophet said, “If anyone of you, when intending to have a sexual intercourse with his wife, says: ‘Bismillah, Allahumma jannibna-sh-shaitan, wa jannibi-sh-shaitan ma razaqtana,’ and if the couple are destined to have a child (out of that very sexual relation), then Satan will never be able to harm that child.” Volume 8, Book 75, Number 397: Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas:
Muhammad said that during sleep Satan ties knots at the back of the head.
Allah’s Apostle said, “During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, ‘The night is long, so keep on sleeping,’ If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and gay, otherwise he gets up dull and gloomy.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 491: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said that Satan peed in the ear of a man.
It was mentioned before the Prophet that there was a man who slept the night till morning (after sunrise). The Prophet said, “He is a man in whose ears (or ear) Satan had urinated.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 492: Narrated ‘Abdullah:ï’
Muhammad said Satan can not impersonate him in a dream.
The Prophet said, “Name yourselves with my name (use my name) but do not name yourselves with my Kunya name (i.e. Abu-l Qasim). And whoever sees me in a dream then surely he has seen me for Satan cannot impersonate me. And whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally), then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire.” Volume 1, Book 3, Number 110: Narrated Abu Huraira: Also at Volume 8, Book 73, Number 217: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said earthquakes and afflictions come out of the side of the head of Satan.
(The Prophet) said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and our Yemen.” People said, “Our Najd as well.” The Prophet again said, “O Allah! Bless our Sham and Yemen.” They said again, “Our Najd as well.” On that the Prophet said, “There will appear earthquakes and afflictions, and from there will come out the side of the head of Satan.” Volume 2, Book 17, Number 147: Narrated Ibn ‘Umar:
        Muhammad choked Satan
The Prophet once offered the prayer and said, “Satan came in front of me and tried to interrupt my prayer, but Allah gave me an upper hand on him and I choked him. No doubt, I thought of tying him to one of the pillars of the mosque till you get up in the morning and see him. Then I remembered the statement of Prophet Solomon, ‘My Lord ! Bestow on me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me.’ Then Allah made him (Satan) return with his head down (humiliated).” Volume 2, Book 22, Number 301, Narrated Abu Huraira
Muhammad said Satan passes wind and runs so he may not hear the Adhan (call to prayer).
Allah’s Apostle said, “When the Adhan for the prayer is pronounced, then Satan takes to his heels passing wind so that he may not hear the Adhan and when the Muadh-dhin finishes, he comes back; Volume 2, Book 22, Number 313: Narrated Abu Huraira,
o Allah’s Apostle said, “When the call for prayer is made, Satan takes to his heels passing wind so that he may not hear the Adhan and when the call is finished he comes back, and when the Iqama is pronounced, Satan again takes to his heels, Volume 2, Book 22, Number 323, Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said that when praying while standing, Satan puts doubts into the person.
Allah’s Apostle said, “When anyone of you stands for the prayers, Satan comes and puts him in doubts till he forgets how many Rakat he has prayed. So if this happens to anyone of you, he should perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting. Volume 2, Book 22, Number 324: Narrated Abu Huraira:
Muhammad said that Satan can reach into a person’s body the same as blood reaches it.
Safiya, the wife of the Prophet told me that she went to Allah’s Apostle to visit him in the mosque while he was in Itikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. She had a talk with him for a while, then she got up in order to return home. The Prophet accompanied her. When they reached the gate of the mosque, opposite the door of Um-Salama, two Ansari men were passing by and they greeted Allah’s Apostle . He told them: Do not run away! And said, “She is (my wife) Safiya bint Huyai.” Both of them said, “Subhan Allah, (How dare we think of any evil) O Allah’s Apostle!” And they felt it. The Prophet said (to them), “Satan reaches everywhere in the human body as blood reaches in it, (everywhere in one’s body). I was afraid lest Satan might insert an evil thought in your minds.” Volume 3, Book 33, Number 251: Narrated Ali bin Al-Husain: Also, see 254
Muhammad said affliction comes out of the side of Satan’s head.
The Prophet stood up and delivered a sermon, and pointing to ‘Aisha’s house (i.e. eastwards), he said thrice, “Affliction (will appear from) here,” and, “from where the side of the Satan’s head comes out (i.e. from the East).” Volume 4, Book 53, Number 336: Narrated ‘Abdullah:
I saw Allah’s Apostle pointing towards the east saying, “Lo! Afflictions will verily emerge hence; afflictions will verily emerge hence where the (side of the head of) Satan appears.” Volume 4, Book 54, Number 499: Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar:

    2. You, Mr.Silver have conveniently left out, at the very least, the MOST IMPORTANT FACT- The so-called “Jews” presently in what Rothschild called “Israel” ( which it is not) are NOT the Biblical Israelites. They ARE members of the Khazars., who CONVERTED to Judaism around 800 AD and have no ancestral or DNA connection to, what we call, incorrectly, I might add, the “Middle East” or Hebrews/Israelites. THEIR home is in Russia- The Autonomous Republic of Yevrei Birobidjan which has official languages, Yiddish and Russian

If you have any argument, take it up with “Koestler” and “Recent DNA research indicate that most of those living today who claim to be Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites at all and the Palestinians have more Israelite blood than the Jews – they are the real Semites. Research by Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and published by the Oxford University Press in 2012 on behalf of the Society of Molecular Biology and Evolution, found that the Khazarian Hypothesis is scientifically correct, meaning that most Jews are Khazars. Probably no more than 2% of Jews in Israel are actually Israelites……………” https://www.veteranstoday.com/2018/04/02/who-are-the-true-semites-in-the-topsy-turvy-world-of-anti-semitism/?utm_source=April+2%2C++2018&utm_campaign=VT+Newsletter&utm_medium=email

    3. Since Judaism is a fraudulent religion with plagiarised stories from Sumerian, Egyptian and Canaanite and Vedic myths, since as Aristotle and his pupil Clearchus stated the Jews were originally Calani brahmins from India, (Contra Apionem i, 22) it stands to reason that the daughter religions would also be deficient in some way.

My own insights based on research and independent mystic insight and revelation you can read about underneath the following excellent video linking the ancient cultures and particularly the Vedic and the Levantine cultures with the Western Occult traditions of the globalist Luciferian Freemason elites.

That being said, in all fairness, as closed systems each one coherent within itself, they are absolutely for the adherents, though only relatively true, such that modern science and it’s discoveries could eviscerate each of them with relative ease.

Science as revelation of the Divine Intelligence is another way of looking at things which mankind needs to embrace, a point made by Einstein and my own great uncle Allama Mashriqi who was a freedom fighter in India and Islamic reformer.

    WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?
Your Jesus/Yahshua is the Son of Yahweh, the genocidal god of TORAH/TANACH/BIBLE.
    Christianity is based on TORAH/TANACH/BIBLE.
Read the Book of Hebrews in the New Testament.
The argument in the Gospels between Jesus and the Pharisees/Rabbis, is about the TORAH and the ORAL TRADITION, which became the TALMUD (See Matthew 15:1-20; Matthew 23;1-39; John 8:43-47).

In Matthew 15:1-9 Jesus is demanding that the Pharisees carry out the Law of Moses on the disobedient and have him killed!

Christianity is SLAUGHTERHOUSE THEOLOGY, that leads to SADOMASOCHISM (Do a bit of church history).

The Israelite Males mustve interbreed with local european women since they were desirable and thats why 80% of modern Jews are from Europe. You are open to rebut my arguement if you can.

  15. Even the Bible seems to disagree with Trump

    Deuteronomy 8: 7-10:

    7 For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

    8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

    Psalm 125:2:

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever

Nobody in their right mind could claim that those verses describe the modern-Day “Jerusalem”, not Palestine.

However, the level of deceit here goes significantly beyond even what we are told today. The famous historian Herodotus in his ‘Histories’ writes of Palestine. it’s not so much what he says, but what he doesn’t day. These are all of Herodotus’ comments about Palestine..

Thence they went on to invade Egypt; and when they were in Syria which
is called Palestine, Psammetichos king of Egypt met them; and by gifts and
entreaties he turned them from their purpose, so that they should not
advance any further: and as they retreated, when they came to the city of
Ascalon in Syria, most of the Scythians passed through without doing any
damage, but a few of them who had stayed behind plundered the temple of
    Aphrodite Urania.

That this was so I conjectured myself not only because they are dark-skinned
and have curly hair (this of itself amounts to nothing, for there are other
races which are so), but also still more because the Colchians, Egyptians,
and Ethiopians alone of all the races of men have practised circumcision
from the first. The Phenicians and the Syrians[88] who dwell in Palestine
confess themselves that they have learnt it from the Egyptians, and the
Syrians[89] about the river Thermodon and the river Parthenios, and the
Macronians, who are their neighbours, say that they have learnt it lately
    from the Colchians.

The pillars which Sesostris of Egypt set up in the various countries
are for the most part no longer to be seen extant; but in Syria Palestine I
myself saw them existing with the inscription upon them which I have
    mentioned and the emblem.
Now by this way only is there a known entrance to Egypt: for from
Phenicia to the borders of the city of Cadytis belongs to the Syrians[4] who
are called of Palestine, and from Cadytis, which is a city I suppose not
much less than Sardis, from this city the trading stations on the sea coast
as far as the city of Ienysos belong to the king of Arabia, and then from
Ienysos again the country belongs to the Syrians as far as the Serbonian
lake, along the side of which Mount Casion extends towards the Sea.
From that division which begins with the city of Posideion, founded by
Amphilochos the son of Amphiaraos on the borders of the Kilikians and the
Syrians, and extends as far as Egypt, not including the territory of the
Arabians (for this was free from payment), the amount was three hundred and
fifty talents; and in this division are the whole of Phenicia and Syria
which is called Palestine and Cyprus: this is the fifth division.

Now in the line stretching to Phenicia from the land of the Persians the
land is broad and the space abundant, but after Phenicia this peninsula goes
    by the shore of our Sea along Palestine, Syria, and Egypt, where it ends;
and in it there are three nations only.

Of the triremes the number proved to be one thousand two hundred
and seven, and these were they who furnished them:–the Phenicians,
together with the Syrians[82] who dwell in Palestine furnished three
hundred; and they were equipped thus, that is to say, they had about
their heads leathern caps made very nearly in the Hellenic fashion,
and they wore corslets of linen, and had shields without rims and
javelins. These Phenicians dwelt in ancient time, as they themselves
report, upon the Erythraian Sea, and thence they passed over and dwell
in the country along the sea coast of Syria; and this part of Syria
and all as far as Egypt is called Palestine.

Thus, Herodotus writes quite a lot on Palestine. But there is no mention of ‘Israelites’, ‘Jews’ or a ‘Jerusalem’ ever having been there.

Now, when did ‘Jerusalem’ move? It’s actually far more recently than anyone thinks. I will now cut-and-paste much of the Wikipedia articles on two (not that well-known today_ “scholars”, both American, called ‘Edward Robinson’ and ‘Nelson Glueck’. These words, which even people like President Trump take to be true speak volumes…

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Robinson_(scholar)

    Edward Robinson (scholar)

Edward Robinson (April 10, 1794 – January 27, 1863) was an American biblical scholar. He studied in the United States and Germany, a center of biblical scholarship and exploration of the Bible as history.

His work in Biblical Geography and Biblical Archaeology conducted in the Ottoman-ruled Palestine region in the late 1830s and 1850s, earned him the epithets “Father of Biblical Geography” and “Founder of Modern Palestinology.”[1]

Robinson traveled to Palestine in 1838 in the company of Rev. Eli Smith. He published Biblical Researches in Palestine in 1841, for which he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Royal Geographical Society in 1842.[1]

Robinson, together with Smith, made scores of identifications of ancient places referred to the Bible.[1] His work established his enduring reputation as a “Founder” of Biblical archeology, and influenced much of future archaeological field work. Examples of his finds in Jerusalem include the Siloam tunnel and Robinson’s Arch in the Old City; the latter was named in his honor.

he two men returned to Ottoman Palestine in 1852 for further investigations. In 1856 the enlarged edition of Biblical Researches was published simultaneously in English and German. Among those who later acknowledged Robinson’s stature, in 1941 G. Ernest Wright, reviewing the pioneering survey contained in Nelson Glueck’s The Other Side of the Jordan, makes a just comparison and fitting testimonial: “Glueck’s explorations are second to none, unless it is those of Edward Robinson.” [5]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nelson_Glueck

    Nelson Glueck

Nelson Glueck (June 4, 1900 – February 12, 1971) was an American rabbi, academic and archaeologist. He served as president of Hebrew Union College from 1947 until his death, and his pioneering work in biblical archaeology resulted in the discovery of 1,500 ancient sites.

By 1928 he was a member of the Hebrew Union College faculty, teaching at the seminary of the Reform Jewish movement. It was during this time period that he first visited the Holy Land.

He was the first to identify some ancient wares such as the Edomite and Midianite pottery, re-discovered what is now called Negevite pottery, and[4] surveyed many unknown sites in the Transjordan.

In the 1950s, Glueck discovered remains of the advanced Nabataean civilization in Jordan.

He was the author of several books on archaeology, religion, and the intersection of the two. They include Explorations in Eastern Palestine (4 vol., 1934–51), The Other Side of the Jordan (1940), The River Jordan (1946), Rivers in the Desert: A History of the Negev (1959), Deities and Dolphins (1965), and Hesed in the Bible (1968).

Clearly, Robinson and Glueck(in the NINETEENTH and TWENTIETH centuries AD) “discovered” THOUSANDS of sites in Palestine, and the surrounding areas, and assigned to them Biblical names. It would be very interesting to find an authentic map of Palestine from the 17th or 18th century, and see if there is a “Jerusalem” there.

Meanwhile, the allies of the USA and “Israel” destroy the authentic Biblical sites, and give them new names, while the world remains ignorant.

  16. I agree that Jerusalem in Palestine was never the Jerusalem of Kings Daoud (David) and Suleiman (Solomon), but you do have some of your “facts” wrong. I have been waiting for you to figure it out, but I will now tell you what happened in ancient history. You won’t hear this from anyone else, because my research is unique. First of all, the word “Uru Silim” is a a combination of two words, and the language is Sumerian. The prophet Ibrahim (later changed to Abraham) lived in Ur, southern Iraq. Ur was a Sumerian word for “city” and “silim” was a Sumerian word for “peace.” So the word Jerusalem evolved from the original Sumerian “city of peace.” In the 14th century Amarna letters, Palestinian Jerusalem was written in the Sumerian language as Uru Silim. Don’t bother with so-called scholars who claim it was named after a pagan god. Palestinian Jerusalem therefore existed long before the mythical Joshua invaded Jericho, which Finkelstein has confirmed. Contrary to what the scribes wrote in their contradictory biblical narrative during the middle of the first millennium BCE, an act that was religiously and politically motivated, Palestinian Jerusalem was not the first Jerusalem. The words “city of peace” could be applied to any city God chooses as one in which He would be worshipped. As the Creator, He could destroy one and create another. Palestinian Jerusalem was built to replace the first Temple, and that was not in Palestine, contrary to what Jews believe.

Now try to imagine that the original one was built anthousand years earlier, and history for a millennium wad passed down orally from generation to generation. The scribes who wrote the stories had bits and pieces of information that they put together and figured the masses were illiterate and would believe anything if they were told God wrote the book and it was miraculously discovered in the temple by Josiah. That is why the Israelite prophets condemned the scribes of Judea for lying. So where did the Exodus take place and where was the original “land of milk and honey” that the Israelites conquered, and where was the mountainous terrain that the real David and Solomon built the first temple? You are wrong that the Jebusites were in Arabia and Yemen. Archaeology discovered them for the first time in Mesopotamia during the second millennium BCE. That is also where the Benjaminite tribes were found to exist during the 1800s BCE. They were the “Beni Yamina”, “children of the right” and were professional warriors. Now, the prophet Abrahsm’s teal name was Ibrahim. Ibrahim is made up of two words: “Ibri” meaning “friend” and “rahim” meaning “Creator” in ancient Akkadian, that was once the lingua franca of the entire Near East long before Aramaic evolved from it. When the Hebrew scribes said Abraham was a friend of God, they developed that from the Akkadian original. The prophet Ibrahim was an Akkadian who spoke Sumerian. Scholarly studies of the early prophets point to Akkadian originals that Hebrew evolved from. Even the position that Joseph (Yussef) had in “Egypt” was an Akkadian word (Misr is the Akkadian word for the land that the Egyptian Kings and pharaohs lived in). The name ”Isra’il” was made up of two Akkadian words that are true to what the Hebrew scribes said Jacob’s new name meant. Adam was an Akkadian name, true to the Hebrew definition, and so was the prophet Musa’s name (Moses). The original names of the prophets that we find in the Quran are the original Akkadian names. The names in Hebrew literature were distorted from the Akkadian originals. Who were the Akkadians? They were the original Israelites, and they had setlled in Mesopotamia during the third millennium BCE. As the Arabian peninsula became infertile, and the rivers dried (a major river crossed from western Arabia to southern Iraq, the people came to a fertile land that was abundant with fruit trees and everything they needed to nourish them. An unusual conquering civilization also settled there alongside the Sumerians, They maintsined an advanced civilization there for over two centuries and enslaved the Akkadians. Those are the kings that are buried in the Royal Cemetery of Ur, a people whose culture and lifestyle matched those of the earliest dynasties of today’s Egypt during the early third millennium BCE. What stands out in Ur is that the kings worshipped the gokden bull/heifer that the Israelites in captivity worshipped.

Did the Akkadian warriors overthrow the Egyptian-like civilization in Ur? Yes, indeed. 5,400 warriors, all related, families accompanying them, overthrew the advanced civilization and created two kingdoms, Akkad snd Sumer. Akkad had the majority of tribes (matching the mythical Israel), and Sumer had the minority (matching the story of Judea). The conwueror (who matched the mythical story of Joshua, was Sharrumkin (Sargon I), whose dynasty conquered the lands promused to Ibrahim, that all his seed (Israelites and Arabs) would be granted the lands between the Euphrates and the Nile. That is exactly what they conquered. Israelites did reach the Nile, overthrew the kings and took over in a revolution clearly recorded in ancient texts referring to the third millennium BCE. That is why DNA of 151 mummies in Egypt show that they were related to people living in Canaanite lands. When the kingdoms of Akkad and Sumer were destroyed by inter-tribal battles and outdide warriors, the Israelites were scattered all over the Near East and ruled as Hittites, Hurrians, Amorites, all confirmed by the prophet Ezekiel. The original temple if David and Solomon was in the mountainous terrain of Mesopotamia. Solomon built a palace if glass, and the first glass discivered in history was found in the grave of a dignitary in southern Iraq, around 2100 BCE. It was translucent blue, As fir the wueen of Sab’a (Sheba), there is no trace of such a kingdom in Yemen because Hebrew literature points to Qatar. The pearl divers who helped Solomon were in the Persian Gulf, and the prophet Musa was in Bahrain.

You have been negligent and have not examined the Quran, which describes the Exodus. The Quran says it was the “Samiri” who melted Israelite jewelry to make a golden heifer. The Samiri is mentioned three times, and was a man from Samir (original word fir Sumer. No one in the pre-biblical, biblical, or post biblical period knew about the Sumerians. The Quran is the only book that mentions them. How did an illiterate prophet in the desert of Arabia know about the Sumerians who ceased to exist 2600 years before he was born? It could only have been known by a higher power. And that is not all. I have close to a thousand footnotes in my books, filled with evidence, but I have to feed it slowly.

My ancestors are the original Palestinians, We were the true Israelites living in Judea. They built their second temple there because the first was destroyed in Mesopotamia. After the destruction of the first temple, the Israelites were punished twice in their history, and both times are confirmed in the archaeological record. The second is the destruction of the Temple in Palestinian Jerusalem. Al Aqsa replaced the second temple, reflecting the final covenant under the second Musa (Moses) who was the prophet Muhammad. Mecca became the New Jerusalem of biblical texts and the book of Revelation, and the Temple Scroll of the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Islamic armies re-conquered what the Israelites failed to control, the lands from “the Euphrates to the Nile.” They became the Caliphate, and were conquered exactly as it was foretold by the final Israelite prophet, the Messiah ‘Isa (not the false Messiah Yeshua -translated into Greek as IESUS or Jesus). Now that is another story, which I will explain another day). The majority of the Israelites became Muslim and regained control of the lands that were once Akkad and Sumer. Their descendants became today’s Shi’ites. That is why they are so angry that the Jews once again distorted history, and are claiming Jerusalem as theirs alone. Now you know the story behind the Shi’ite desire to control the Fertile Crescent. Their ancestors fought valiantly for it, as they were the best of the Israelites.

    1. Furthermore, the David and Solomon of the biblical narrative were not the same ones described in the Quran as Daoud and Suleiman. The biblical characters were based on two real historic characters that the Israelites admired and remembered. They were actually very pagan in behavior and beliefs. The ones described in the Quran were God-fearing shepherd-kings who ruled with justice. The laws they established were far closer to Islamic laws, and that can be demonstrated in ancient texts. Perhaps, Dr. Ashraf, you did not notice the subtle linguistic hints given in the Quran when we are told stories of the prophets Ibrahim, Yussef, Musa, Suleiman, and Daoud. The purpose of the stories was to give us a location and time frame. The Quran says the Jews took the stories out of their correct chronology and location. Muslims have failed to recognize what the miracle is in the Quran. It is the language, the inventions of that era. There are words in the story of Yussef that are not Arabic. They are ancient Babylonian Akkadian. The inventions of Daoud and Suleiman take us to the end of the third millennium BCE. Why do you think in the story of Suleiman, we are told of ancient Babylon and the angels Harut and Marut? Why do you think we are told of the pearl divers who helped Suleiman build his palace? There were no pearl divers in the Mediterranean. Why were we told Musa was in Bahrain, where the two seas merge? That is how Bahrain became known as that, because when the salt sea inundated the Persian Gulf, it inundated fresh water seas and aquifers that are beneath the island. As for the Exodus, during the end of the third millennium BCE, the culture in southern Iraq was very Israelite. The calendar used was the Hebrew one, the monetary value was the shekel, and the parting of the sea that destroyed pharaoh’s army was a “Yam suph”, confirmed in the Quran as “yam” adjacent to a “bahr” or sea. It was a Sea of Reeds, whose description matches perfectly the seas of reeds that form in the month of Nissan (spring) in southern Iraq as the flood waters from melting snow in the Zagros mountains rushes to inundate dry land. The Quran says they were drowned by a flood. The flood waters pushed them towards the Gulf, which becomes red in color because of the redness of the earth. The Persian Karun river also becomes red. Karun is the original name of biblical Korah who enriched himself from pharaoh’s people. Hawr al Hammar is a sea of reeds that matches the description perfectly, Hammar derived from “Ahmar”, meaning “red.” That is where the marsh Arabs live. Herodotus wrote that the Tigris and Euphrates flow into the original Red Sea. Today’s Red Sea was given that name so it would match the biblical narrative of the Israelites crossing from today’s Egypt to Sinai and entering Jericho. It was a complete fabrication as archaeology has proven. I could tell you so much more, but I would like you to think about what I have written. The truth is always logical and must be backed by evidence. This is the time in history foretold by the final two prophets, when knowledge is so abundant. When the Quran describes the sacred mountain as al Sina’ or the range as “al Tur,” the reference is to the Taurus mountains in the upper Euphrates. That is where the prophet Musa was given his tablets of law, and they were detailed, not summarized into the biblical Ten Commandments, another fabrication. That is why Finkelstein says it could not have been the Sinai peninsula because it wasn’t. Why do you think God destroyed the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem? They lied, shed blood, and broke all their covenants. They were never permitted to build it again and regress to a Jewish state with a new blood-thirsty Jewish Messiah. Woe to those who build a city with blood and expect God to accept it.

      2. Dear Margaret S. King,

God did not destroy the so called (first) Jewish Temple in (out of Palestine) Jerusalem, the Babylonians did. All this talk about the Israelites breaking some covenant with their God doesn’t concern me, as I indeed believe the whole thing to be nothing more than an ancient (Arabian) myth/folklore. The first temple was destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar (king of Akkad) back in 579 BC and the Temple was located in Northern Yemen. Contrary to your extraordinary interpretation, the whole story of the Siege and the deportation of the (Arabian) Israelites to Babylon is mentioned in the ancient Babylonian chronicles.
With that out of the way, I always feel very disappointed/angry when any researcher/scholar tries to link/ascribe the profound mysticism and mythology of either Ancient Sumer or Egypt to the shallow and tribal culture of the Israelites.
You cannot attribute the writings of a musical genius like Mozart or Bach to some tribal drum player in the Isolated Jungles of the Amazon … In that case, details (such as playing with words’ similarities and other correlations) don’t count … the whole premise is bound to be wrong , if we don’t pay enough assessment/attention to the final CULTURAL CONSTRUCT. We can’t put Mozart’s Requiem in the same box with some tribal drum noise (even if it happened that the drum player’s name was Mosario). That’s insane.
In the case of the Israelites, their cultural product/construct is very shallow, violent and bloodthirsty based on purely Arabian Bedouin culture.
You do an incredible harm/injustice to the ancient and profound culture of the Babylonians, Akkadians and surely the Sumerians and Egyptians by “ripping off” their ancient history and culture and simply handing it over to the Israelite tribe – one of the worst occurrences in the history of mankind.
However, I enjoyed some points in your passionate (but rather unconvincing) interpretation as we both agree that the fist Israelite temple is not to be found in Palestine. I have the whole story of the Arabian “Israelites” in my book “Egypt Knew no Pharaohs nor Israelites”. Thank you.

    2. MARGARET S. KING IS IGNORANT OF WHAT MUSLIM SCHOLARS SAY ABOUT TORAH

      IS THE TORAH/TANACH CORRUPTED?
Every Muslim believes that the Bible has been corrupted or lost, either partially or fully.
There is just one question Muslims need to answer.

You need to get your facts in order:

    • The Arabic language came to be in the 7th century.

    • Old Hebrew language is Canaanite-Phoenician.

    • Jerusalem, Ur Shalem, was founded by the Canaanites and named after their God, Salem. Salem was the Canaanite pagan God of Dusk.

    1. There is no such thing in the ancient history of the Levant (Palestine and Syria) that is called Canaan or Canaanite history/culture/language/Gods, etc. This is simply a hoax carried out by western orientalists and historians (brainwashed with biblical misconceptions).

      1. Yo Bro,
The Jews wrote their Harry Potter Bible RETROSPECTIVELY!
If you read Genesis 9:18-27, you will see the first mention of CANAAN, who was the son of HAM, who
        was a son of NOAH.
To justify their GENOCIDAL attack on the CANAANITES and get the PROMISED LAND, they created the story of what HAM did to MOSES and the CURSE that was put on CANAAN:

Genesis 9:18-27 King James Version (KJV)

18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:

21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.

24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Zionists are shockers and have not kept a promise since Balfour.
It was agreed that Jerusalem, the city of peace, was international and that agreement should be respected.

        THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR!

        THE GODFATHER
Trump’s business has been dependent almost from the start on real-life racketeers. There was Anthony ‘Fat Tony’ Salerno, boss of the Genovese crime family, and Paul ‘Big Paulie’ Castellano, boss of the Gambino crime family, who owned the company that provided the ready-mix cement for Trump Tower, used in place of the usual steel girders. There was John Cody, the boss of Teamsters Local 282, who controlled the cement trucks and was an associate of the Gambino family. There was Daniel Sullivan, Trump’s labour ‘consultant’, who in partnership with the Philadelphia crime boss Nicodemos ‘Nicky’ Scarfo’s financier, sold Trump a property in Atlantic City that became his casino. There was Salvatore ‘Salvie’ Testa, ‘crown prince’ of the Philadelphia Mob, who sold Trump the site on which two construction firms owned by Scarfo built the Trump Plaza and Casino. There was Felix Sater, convicted money launderer for the Russian Mafia, Trump’s partner in building the Trump SoHo hotel through the Bayrock Group LLC, which by 2007 had more than $2 billion in Trump licensed projects and by 2014 was no more. There was Tevfik Arif, another Trump partner, Bayrock’s chairman, originally from Kazakhstan. Bayrock’s equity financing came from three Kazakh billionaires known as ‘the Trio’, who were reported to be engaged in racketeering, money laundering and other crimes. And so on.

For the documentary trail, see Wayne Barrett’s Trump: The Greatest Show on Earth (1992) and David Cay Johnston’s The Making of Donald Trump (Melville House, 288 pp., £18.99, August 2016, 978 1 612 19632 9).

There was no art to these deals. Trump’s relationships with the Mob weren’t just about the quality of cement. In his defence it was said that doing business with the Mob was inescapable in New York, but the truth is that there were prominent developers who crusaded against the sorts of arrangement that Trump routinely made. From beginning to end, whether Cosa Nostra or the Russian Mafia, Trump has been married to the Mob.

The founding father of what became the Trump Organisation, Frederick Trump, a German immigrant who changed his name from Drumpf, left a substantial legacy of New York real estate and investments that had originated in brothels and bars in the Yukon and the Pacific Northwest. When he died, his son Fred, then 15 years old, assumed his mantle under the stewardship of his mother. His housing business flourished from the 1930s until the early 1950s thanks to his close partnerships with the Brooklyn Democratic Party machine and a steady flow of loans from the Federal Housing Authority. In 1954, he was subpoenaed to appear before the Senate Banking Committee, where he was questioned about profit windfalls and inflated costs. From then on he would receive no FHA loans – which is the reason the Trump Village on Coney Island, among other projects, was greased by his Brooklyn political connections. Also cited in the FHA investigation was Fred Trump’s partner, contractor and financier William ‘Willie’ Tomasello, who according to the federal Organised Crime Task Force was associated with elements of both the Gambino and Genovese families.

    1. The Greatest Curse to befall Gentile Nations was the Hebrew Bible.

A VILE GOD, A VILE BOOK AND A VILE PEOPLE

THE GENOCIDAL GOD OF THE JEWS

“I form the LIGHT, and create DARKNESS. I make PEACE, and create EVIL.
I the LORD do all these things.” – Isaiah 45.7.

All cultures have anthropomorphized their gods into humanoid (if sometimes grotesque) form. Were the Jews the exception? Hardly. We know precisely what the Hebrew god looked like. We are, after all, fashioned in his own likeness! “Yahweh”, in fact, is an abbreviation of the longer name, “Yahweh Sabaoth.” It means, “He who musters armies.” Thus Yahweh’s name identifies the god primarily as the military leader of the tribe. No wonder the God bequeathed to the world by the Jews turned out to be a monster.

A GOD IN THE IMAGE OF THE JEW

“The Lord is a man of war; Yahweh is his name.” – Exodus 15.3.

“Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and tortuous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind; and, for my part, I sincerely detest it, as I detest everything that is cruel.”
Thomas Paine, The Age of Reason

Without a doubt, the human race has been bludgeoned with books about this one tome, the Jewish Bible. The Jewish Bible is full of violence and ugly stories, with a few “feel-good” platitudes and parables interspersed. It’s hardly worth reading. Other than a handful of spiritual gems that can be found in virtually any religion, the Jewish Bible is irrelevant. A person with an innate sense of right and wrong needs none of its teachings, sparse as they are. Reading the Jewish Bible, in fact, can make one highly depraved. Many a serial rapist and killer has also been a Jewish Bible fanatic. They have taken seriously the punishments exacted throughout the Old Testament, such as stoning for “adulterous” women, “the Lord” punishing “his chosen” by making them eat each other, etc., ad nauseam.

In Numbers 31:14-18, Moses becomes enraged that his minions hadn’t finished off the people of Midian after the Hebrews had destroyed and pillaged the Midianites’ cities and enslaved the survivors. Moses immediately orders his thugs to kill all the male children and married women but to reserve the virgin girls for themselves – to rape, of course.

Hardly something we should be teaching our children. The Jewish Bible is the ultimate controlling device.
      NATURAL BORN KILLERS

God tells Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.
      (Genesis 22.2)

Boy terrified in ritual abuse in the mountains -Yahweh cult’s ‘Test of Fear’
“God put Abraham to the test … Abraham built an altar … bound Isaac hand & foot … took the slaughtering knife to kill his son … But the angel of the Lord began calling … ‘Do not put out your hand against the boy …. for now I know that you fear the Lord …’ (Genesis 22.1,12)

The story of Isaac is NOT a condemnation of child sacrifice. Isaac was spared not because human sacrifice was seen to be wrong but because Isaac was the “child of promise” and needed to survive. The yarn requires the normality of human sacrifice. Abraham was praised for his willingness to appease Yahweh by killing his own son. The sham murder of Isaac (the ‘Aquedah’) was the prototype for a ‘redemptive sacrificial death’ subsequently re-worked as the crucified Jesus.

It should be noted that in the biblical text, Isaac (like Jesus) is repeatedly called “the only son” of Abraham (Genesis 22.2., 12., 16.) even though Abraham actually has another, older son, Ishmael.

Moses orders Levite fanatics to murder 3000 golden-calf enthusiasts.
      (Exodus 32.27,29)

      BLESSED MURDERERS

“‘Today,’ Moses said, ‘you have consecrated yourself to Yahweh, at the cost of your sons and brothers. And so he bestows a blessing on you today.'”

When the Lord says kill everyone He means EVERYONE!
      Saul loses out:
“You didn’t kill enough,” says the Lord. “You can’t be king!”

“And Saul defeated the Amalekites … and devoted to destruction all the people … But Saul spared Agag and … all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them. All that was despised and worthless they devoted to destruction.
And Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the oxen that I hear?” … Then Samuel said, “Bring here to me Agag the king of the Amalekites.” And Agag came to him cheerfully … And Samuel hacked Agag to pieces before the LORD in Gilgal. And the LORD regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.”
      – 1 Samuel 15

The LORD delivers 10,000 Canaanites and Perizzites for slaughter in Bezek. As part of the fun 71 kings have their thumbs and big toes cut off.
      (Judges 1.2,7)

“And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand … Then Judah went up, and the Lord delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand; and they killed ten thousand men at Bezek.”
      – Judges 1.2-4.

Elisha orders the assassination of Jezebel.
      (2 Kings 9,5,37)

      Joshua Slaughters 31 kings
      (Joshua 12.1,24)

Elijah Murders 450 Priests of Baal.
      (1 Kings 18.40)

Samson Slays 1000 Philistines (with an ass’s jawbone! )
      (Judges 15.16)

King Amaziah of Judah (c. 801–783 BC) throws 10,000 captive Edomites from the top of a rock.
      (2 Chronicles 25.12)

Usurper Jehu tricks all the priests of Baal into temple slaughter.
      (2 Kings 10.19.30)

“Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal. And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.”

THE JEWISH GOD WAS DELIGHTED WITH THE MASSACRE

“And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing right in mine eyes, hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the 4th generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.”

In Joshua’s (supposed) wars of conquest, God gets right in there. He throws down ‘great stones from heaven’ (Joshua 10.11) and scores a better body-count than his Israelites with mere swords. When the Lord gets up a real head of steam the slaughter reaches a truly epic scale. For merely looking into his Ark, Yahweh wipes out fifty thousand and seventy unfortunate men of Bethshemesh (1 Samuel 6.19). When King David slips up and orders a national census, an enraged God zaps seventy thousand.

Quite apart from the celestial superman’s own killing, he animates his favourites into wiping out whole cities and nations. Jericho, Sodom, Gomorrah, Ai, Makkedah, Libnah etc., etc., are ‘smote and consumed’ – men, women, young, old, ox, sheep and ass!

‘You shall annihilate them – Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, Jebusites – as Yahweh your God commanded you.’

      – Deuteronomy 20.11,18.

In the largest single god-inspired massacre in the Bible, one million (1,000,000) Ethiopians are slaughtered! (2 Chronicles 14).

      1. To understand the Bible is to understand the Middle East and Arabs first, we have to look to people who are from that area. The Jewish people are an Invention. People back then were all Arabs. I like the first commentator by Margaret S. King to which she explains the origins of Abraham, who is from present day Iraq. This makes more sense. Who lives there now? the Kurds. These might be the original Israelites if I have to guess. I also agree with Dr. Ashraf here that some of these OT Bible stories took place in Yemen and Saudi area. There are more than one Abraham so its hard to know who’s who.
But if I am reading correctly what you are saying, you are saying that the OT is a violent book with a mean Hebrew god who slaughters people and made up stories or fairy tales from Babylonian times. Yes, I agree. Thank you.

      2. There was only one prophet Ibrahim and he was from Ur during Sumerian times. His lineage was Akkadian based on his name. The Akkadians were gradually moving to Sumer from at least the fourth millennium BCE. Wherever the civilization of Egyptian-like kings and pharaohs originated during the third millennium BCE, the evidence points to a belligerent people who had ties to cultures as far as Afghanistan. According to ancient Egyptian texts that refer to the third millennium BCE historic events, the people who established themselves in today’s Egypt considered southern Iraq to be the land of their origin. They bemoaned the destruction of their civilization there, and claimed the entire earth shifted and “not a nail was left standing.” Hebrew literature and the Quran in particular explain it. The prophet Musa (Moses) asked God to punish pharaoh and his people by destroying everything they built so there was no evidence that they were ever there. The Quran states that God caused hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes to destroy everything. That is why all that remains is what we find in their cemetary. The earliest pyramids built during that period in today’s Egypt are still standing, showing evidence within of a connection to southern Iraq. The Bible and Quran agree in their descriptions that mud brick was used to build the structures in pharaoh’s period, which is a hint about time period and location. After the mid-third millennium in today’s Egypt, the pyramids were built using limestone.

As for your comment that the Kurds were the Israelites, they were not. The biblical story of the Israelites conquering the promised land and being attacked by some war-like mountain-dwellers who were already there, was based on the story of the Akkadians versus the Guti, ancestors of today’s Kurds. The Akkadians battled the Guti for 150 years before they made peace. When the Jewish scribes wrote their distorted history in the Old Testament, they replaced the Guti with the Philistines, a story that never made sense historically. They inserted the Philistines because they were one of a coalition of five warring factions who settled in Palestine at the end of the second millennium BCE. The scribes had no knowledge of history as it happened more than a millennium before them. Their mythical Saul, a hero in the wars, was based on a real historic character who existed in Akkad. The OT says he was from Kish. Kish was a town in Akkadian lands in Mesopotamia. The OT stories were based on real events and characters, but their names were changed, as was the time period and location. That is why the Israelite prophets who all emerged from Mesopotamia condemned the Jewish religious leaders for lying and distorting religious history. The Jews made it sound like everything took place in Palestine, and they were the exclusive Hebrews and Israelites. History, archaeology, linguistics, do not agree. The final blow to them was the destruction of the second Temple in Jerusalem. They never accepted the will of God, but the evidence is in their own literature. Modern-day Jews returned to steal Palestine from the original inhabitants, the Palestinians, and have deceived the world into believing them. The Iranians have more Israelite heritage than today’s Jews, yet they continue to beat their war drums against Iran with the help of the crazy evangelicals , who wouldn’t understand the Bible even if they had centuries to figure it out. They misdirect US foreign policy against the Middle East.

We do not want to know and participate in these books written by Babylonian scripts. These stories are violent and horrific in nature, not something we should be reading to children. I think its silly that we even read the Old Testament if we are Christians.

    2. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FABLE AND MYTH
      Fable vs Myth

Everybody loves stories, narratives of events which are shared through words, sounds, and actions. They are usually enriched and improvised to make them more interesting and inspiring. They are meant to entertain, to educate, and to impart moral values and preserve a people’s culture and heritage.

The early stories were orally handed down from generation to generation and were stories about the world, how it works, and how people should treat each other oftentimes teaching a lesson. These stories are called myths and fables.
The word “myth” comes from the Greek word “mythos” which means “story.” Myths are stories about gods and their powers which are orally passed down from one generation to the next. Each culture has its own story of how the world came to be. They are closely associated with religion and are the basis of customs and taboos in society. They provide an explanation on how the universe was formed and how people must act under certain circumstances.

Myths were developed through the personification of things and natural forces which were worshipped by ancient people. They represented such natural phenomenon as fire as the person of Apollo; water, the person of Poseidon, and feelings of desire, the person of Aphrodite.

While a myth is a category of a story that is considered true, a fable is a category that is considered false or fictional. Fables are stories of animals, things, or natural forces that are given human characteristics which usually give a moral lesson. Like myths, fables can be found in most cultures around the world. The most famous source of fables was Aesop, a slave in ancient Greece.

Fables were used to train students of ancient Greece and Rome in public speaking and literary composition. Popular examples of fables are: “Arabian Nights,” “The Lion and the Mouse,” and “The Tortoise and the Hare.”
The word “fable” comes from the Latin word “fabula” which means “a narrative or tale” which in turn comes from the word “fari” meaning “to speak” and the suffix “ula” meaning “little.” Thus, a fable is a little story that is circulated orally.

      Summary:

1.A myth is a story about gods and heroes and how the world came into being while a fable is a story about animals, things, and forces of nature that are meant to give a moral lesson.
2.Myths are closely related to religion and personify things and natural forces which are considered as gods by ancient people while fables are personifications of animals, things, and natural phenomena meant to teach a lesson.
3.Myths are considered true stories while fables are considered false stories.
4.Both are orally handed down from generation to generation; myths being legends of how a certain group of people came to be while fables being examples of how people should act.
5.“Myth” comes from the Greek word “mythos” meaning “story” while “fable” comes from the Latin word “fabula” meaning “a narrative or tale.”

      FICTION vs MYTH

In general use the word myth has come to mean a misconception or even a lie. But that is not the real meaning of myth.
Unlike a lie or fiction, which is usually dreamed up for a specific purpose by one person, myth is the unconscious creation of a whole culture. So myth has a psychological truth within the culture where it originates.

Fiction can sometimes be profound, especially if it incorporates a deep understanding of myths and folklore, as some of the best authors do. It is not a lie; it is storytelling.
But myth has at least a metaphysical reality, such as in the spirit world, that most fiction does not even begin to approach. In other words, on a certain level myth is real in the culture where it originates, because it expresses the worldview and inner reality of a people.
